@MrCeja1 Can't be sure if this video is them just playing over the original recording or if this is the actual video of the recording, but if you look closely, George is playing his brown Fender Telecaster (the same one he used on the Apple rooftop concert a few days later).
However, he and John indeed used a Fender VI, which is not actually a bass, but a baritone scale guitar in many songs. He is just not using it in this particular video.
@danielgfaria This is the real deal studio take during the filming of the Let It Be movie. George's brown Tele had a body made of Rosewood and is very heavy. There were some later reissues of it, but the complaint was the Rosewood made it very heavy. Still it parlays nicely for this tune's bass line, probably set on the neck rythmn pickup with the tone rolled back a hair to reduce treble.
Love this song, depressing to watch the video though. They look bored to death. But I was a fan when I saw em on Ed Sullivan in '64, I'm still a fan 47 years later!
@dewang07 I think they were all miserably tired during the filming of this movie, Let It Be, in a cavernous & cold studio, with much interpersonal band strife going on, ha. It was so tough, they shelved it, recorded Abby Road next and released it, then finally released Let It Be LP and movie at the end in 1970. John hired Phil Spector to finish the LP much to Paul's horror. Eventually Paul tried to recapture the spirit of the project in Let It Be-Naked, but both versions are classics, no doubt.
@guiludascher, you forgot to mention Jimmi Hendrix, Ray Charles, Karen Carpenter, Kurt Cobaine, Marvin Gaye. George and John are upset coz Paul and Ringo are running late.
John Lennon isn't dead. He is in a little island in the middle of the Pacific. Just enjoying life with his friends Elvis Presley, John Kennedy, Abe Lincoln and Michael Jackson. There's also that new habitant: Amy Winehouse.

@crazye111 Heard that, and now damn EMI has blocked it. I think you can finally buy the Let It Be movie now, which would have this. But too bad, EMI can't share a little snippet of the movie here. At least my girlfriend got to view it before this a couple days ago. We are apart now for a bit, but this brought us together in spirit and she dug it!
Great Song & Harmonies ! Fantastic bassing on the guitar, by George & Great whistling, by John !

Awww...! Paul looks so cute in this video. John is usually the one that looks cute, but I guess Paul won this time.

I love how George's "bassline" goes down from 2:18 to 2:22.
