  • 2:22 love it. Always wanted to skate like this. And that fakie manual at Wallenburg, so good.

  • song, anyone?

  • i really enjoy watching him skate... so natural!

  • shit , glad they re relead it on dvd

  • Mike Daher was always one of my favorites. This part inspired so many sessions for me. I met Mike in Illinois back in the 90's he was one of the coolest guys I ever met. Always loved his style and his pop was so sick!

  • @goldwold

his mom is pretty sick too

  • damn i love this part the last trick was crazy

  • I was there at Benicia the day they filmed all the 16mm stuff in here, so was Tommy, Julien, Gabe, etc.

I swear I'll get the footage to you someday Chris.

  • Smooth. I wish I was older than 2 years old back then.

  • Mike Daher is one of the nicest kats I have ever had the pleasure of talking to and working with He is way ahead of his time abd is A True Skateboarder to this day Rasa Libre is So dope because of Him and Matt Field What they are doing with this new Generation of Skaters on Rasa Libre

  • I should rephrase my last comment: Daher was skating walls!

  • Incredible style! What pop! People were still making the transition from curbs to ledges -- and Daher was skating nearly hip-high blocks....That last trick -- 180 to switch nose manual was sick...

If I'm not mistaken, I think Daher was the first person to kickflip over a picnic table...back in like 411 issue #3 (or some number around there).

The dude was so low-profile. Makes me appreciate him all the more. Thanks for posting this part!

  • Mesmerizing flow. His trick selection here was way ahead of the times.

  • got his board

  • This part would probably be legit even nowadays!!! Amazing! Sadly, even back then Daher was a pretty down-low pro...

I love this, though. Hope he's doing well.

  • Stereo was the shit back then because they were under DLX.

  • So so good. One of my all time favourites.fs 180 fakie manny was amazing.Super pop and smooth style.

  • timeless

  • "Video Part of the Year" Thrasher 1995' awards

  • Boy, skateboarding must have sucked back then without life or ryan, viva la bam, zumies, nyjah huston, and general mass corporatism.

  • i agree with u on all points except only a half a point about nyjah, he' got immense talent, BUT he needs to fuse it with more creativity and style but hes got a real good head on his shoulders and always is having fun it seems so ill give the dog his bone, hopefully when hes older he'll start doing no complies or something haha

  • ewwrr....

    it's a joke right?

  • Skating back then was the best Period Thank God There was no lame ass Shekler or Bam Life was all skating not dumb ass Sunglass sponsors or roickstar drinks If it wasnt for guys like Mike Daher or Matt Field ,Phil Shoa Or John Cardiel there would not be the tricks that your trying now Give credit were credit is due man You dont know and will never know Cuz you were just a baby then Your in this game for all the wrong reasons Just by reading your lame comments I know it

  • @40NBD dude, hating on any badass skater is lame.. sheckler or bam. just because they dont wanna work all fucking day everyday and they actually wanna make money with there talent doesnt make them faggots. is tony hawk a douche for making money? no.. yeah its cool to be a real skater... but who in there right mind would turn down any offer to make more money? and yeah.. fuck the x-games.. BUT why not get exposure and get out of ur shitty apartment and quit your job at taco bell.

  • @taybrown00 & im sure your some badass REAL skater, BUT your a moron. everyone who agrees u should remain poor when the only thing ur good at can make you some money should give themselves a huge pat on the back, because no one is gonna do it for you. your a pretentious douche.

  • @40NBD I had the pleasure of skating with Daher, Vallely, Guidotti and Field. I know Cardiel by name... You are right on spot man. Best times of my life.

  • Great post. Stereo boards where the shit back then.

  • still are

  • The concave isn't as steep though.

  • very, very true.

  • I was never a big fan of the Stereo video. It effected all this originality, but it really just aped the whole Beat aesthetic. Yawn.

Anyway, Mike Daher was rad. I saw him skate a few times. He and Paulo Diaz were kind of similar in the way they both rode with a lot of soul. They both skated fast, and they both had a lot of pop. Unfortunately, the politics of skateboarding these days don't leave much room for people like Mike Daher.

  • He is riding for Rasa Libre now, so I hope some new footage surfaces soon.

  • really fun to watch

  • thanks man ..i watched this vid every day in high school when it came out

  • I've been waiting for this to be posted-Thanx!

  • love the intro with the still photography

  • What happened to this guy? His 180 ollie fakie mannie (switch nose mannie)on that block is a piss take. Sick skater and a stand out part.

  • dope part, who else rode for the team at the time.

  • Ethan Fowler, Carl Shipman, Greg Hunt, Jason Lee, Chris "Dune" Pastras, Matt Rodriguez. That's it I think....maybe Paulo Diaz pre-Chocolate. Such a great team at a great time.
