Kids love felting (even boys!) It's like sculpting with wool. I teach it at local libraries sometimes and I always get a crowd. Thanks for commenting!

it is fleece/wool - the process is called felting.

Oh, bad habits from making too many sheep I suppose...Sometimes it's hard to make them round when you felt on a surface. I've made hundreds of these sheep and turning them in my hand is much faster. I almost never poke myself anymore lol.

It scares me when I see somebody holding the felt with their hand while needle felting!!!! The girl is doing it the right and safe way.... You think?
