What I meant is that characters like Brett or Madeline are too angel-like to be true. and too passive. Brett at least this time stood up against her sister, but Madeline took every humiliation without ever fighting back, and so did Brett many times before.
It´s absolutely ok to be a good character. but sometimes you have to put evil people back to their place, stand up against an injustice and fight back!
But that´s the problem with movie characters, most of them are either 100% angels or 100% devils, and thats what makes them little credible. the more complex characters are more interesting because they are more real and more human. that´s what I meant
I didn´t like her eithe, not for one single moment. I agree that Bret was to much a "good girl". if that had been MY sister, I would most certainly have slapped the shit out of her every single day of my life... LOL (sorry my temper...) But her husband actually deserved that bitch. that fool Huntoon, he and Ashton just searched and found each other, he deserved every time that she cheated on him. LOL
i never liked ashton, she was bitchy and the only reason she tried to kill billy the first time was because she knew that billy wanted brett over her and she couldn't stand it. thats personally what i feel is ashtons problem she thought she was no competition but she was wrong. I think brett shouldve punched her.
I love Genie Francis!!! Was Parker Stevenson and Kirstie Alley both in this mini-series? Cause I know they were married in real life at the time. What part did Jonathan Frakes(Genies husband) play?
