  • @HoppyBrewerUK Not sure mate. You Tube suites me better than JTV as I can do vids at a time that works for me. Will cast again soon though

  • Holy crap you need a level for those photos lol! I always agreed with that I would go with Craft Brew

  • @Mainebrewguy Yes but they look straight when I'm drinking LOL

  • @newrockdog Craft Brewing sounds good. When quite often the home made stuff is better than store bought how can we call it ameteur?

  • @4nursel5 I am starting to regret that comment. I was just thinking of an old guy I use to live next to that use to make real crappy beer and had all these tin cans around. I still make the odd batch with the tin can so I can't talk really

  • Old men with their old cans??? WTF? Christ who do you think invented this stuff???

  • @Norbury53 LOL that's a very valid point

  • @Norbury53 Couldn't agree with you more.

  • i like the name homebrew. When i think of the name i think of Home Breweries not commercial brewers, Home Brewers not Commercial brew. Although we probably start calling ourselves Craft Home Brewers as the beer i try to make is like the craft breweries not the commercial mass producers

  • @MrRahnem Fare point

  • woops forgot to put the label on it suposed to be and ipa and yes it is an all grain brew. it is cloudy i didn't now about whirlfloc tablets when i did that brew glad you like it

  • @MrRahnem Mate it was a great beer I loved it. Very similar to the James Squire IPA but better.Thank-you

  • LOL. Cool video mate! Loved the fake choke, been waiting for someone to do that. There's a craft brewer in Pt Stephens we are going to go checkout soon too. Murray's brewery its called.

  • @RustyT47 I will google them. Glad you liked the vid mate

  • @RustyT47 Had to be done

  • Interested in seeing the video you get from your birthday beer trip. My wife and I are planning a trip to Australia in the next couple of years, so any info on your beer adventures will be nice. Cheers, and happy birthday!

  • @smcbrewingco Look me up when you make it down under. In my real life I am a hotel manager in Noosa which is a great Australian beach holiday spot.

  • What do you mean, don't know what it tastes like? I saw you eating the mash.

  • @DaytonBrewing Good point.

  • Have you worked with tv before? Great announcement! Hehehe... Cheers, hope your first homebrew tastes great! :)

  • @jakubatube No my head is to ugly for TV I use to work in radio though

  • Have fun at the breweries. I'm taking a trip up the California coast (for work), and making a weekend out of it. I'm gonna hit seven Breweries. I'm bringing the camera too.

  • @Dactat Hope your trip goes well. Micro Breweries are only just starting to take of in Australia. I was in the USA 10 years ago and I can remember them just taking of over there about then, I am excited about trying some of the local Aussie Product. Wish I could send you a sample but you can't send Alcohol to the US.

  • @thegentlearts ??? Matilda Bay? Sail & Anchor Pub Brewery? Dog Bolter circa 1987? The Lord Nelson, etc, etc, etc - must be an "old man's" memory going again...

(although I do concede that Queensland IS 20 years behind the rest of Australia)

  • @Norbury53 Were not behind were just more casual than the rest of Australia

  • @thegentlearts yeah yeah go and eat some more pumpkin scones ;-)

Seriously though there was an "Indian summer" of boutique (Micro) breweries in the 80s and 90s which did fizzle out a little. If they are about to boom again that can only be a good thing, so I hope you are correct.

  • @Norbury53 I think there is a bit of a movement at the moment with the Micro Breweries. I also think people would be more keen to try something different now than back then

  • @thegentlearts

    >I also think people would be more keen to try something different now than back then

Do you have any particular reason for saying that?

  • @Norbury53 There has been an explosion of new international beers on the market during the last 10 years. I think craft brew is the next stage. Also look at the explosion in farmers markets. A lot more people are now wanting to know where there food comes from and how it's made. Just my theory. I hope I'm right.
