  • Man it would be sweet if he came to do a seminar at my school, I would love to see what his style is all about.....is Hwarangdo like Tae Kwon Do or a different style?

  • @o0dekker0o: He was born into the art as his father is the Founder, Dr. Joo Bang Lee and he was training since he could walk. And, yes he's in his mid 40s now and he still looks quite young.

  • I have the book Defend, Takedown, and Submit that's a great book. Isn't Hwa rang do indigenous to Shilla?

  • Yes he is the son of the supreme grandmaster. He is in a few movies (chinatown and a few others) if I am not mistaken. Trained under him and definitely recommend anyone interested in martial arts, pays the dojang a visit.

  • Ous. I first saw this sensei in BlackBelt magazine & was like he must be a beast in motion cause the pics they had were good. I had never heard of Hwa Rang Do until I saw him. If he is the front man for this art they picked the right one to represent them. This guy is good!!!
