I apologise for the whole house/garage thing ok but i did really used to get shit from my american friends for calling it garage. What can I say, except I'm never going to mention it again
I have lived in the U.S. since '93 and for them there is no garage just house. I used to get some amount of stick for even mentioning the word 'garage'. This just a savage house record, one of the best and showed the yanks that we can make good house too. I play this about five times a week easy, love it.
@nicsandee123 Bit of an odd statement, since 'garage' is named after the Paradise Garage in New York. Looks like you need to brush up on your music history a bit.
@nicsandee123 Retract that statement. Obviously you havn't lived everywhere in the U.S.. I was raised here and I used to dance to garage in NYC, Philly, BALTIMORE, D.C., and all over San Francisco. Each city I heard garage both NYC and UK in random warehouses and even big major clubs. Todd Edwards just played here in SF not long ago. He modernized the garage sound and made it what most of you know today as 'UK garage' and he is an American.
@dcboy555 Dont make me laugh mate I have loads of american friends and not one of them referred to deep house as garage ever. They simply called it house and gave me a lot of stick for calling it that. I have been to SF , I lived there for a while but I partied too much and had to leave. I lived in the mission. Todd Edwards made better records before he became famous in the UK, way better around 93, in my opinion. I own thousands of american records and have purchased US house since 88
this is one of those gems that you could throw in an old deep house or old garage mix... I would say it is slightly more of a garage sound than house. (I mean real garage from back in 95.. not the new shit).
House is better than garbage, i mean garage.... End Troll mode

A Chi-town classic produced strangely by a guy from Scotland - Paul Hunter.
JackDMC 7 months ago
@JackDMC Not really that strange, Scotland (esp. Glasgow) has always had a very strong house scene with some incredibly talented producers.
