Toda mi vida eh sido refugiado en esto de la música y lo cierto es que buscaba algo suave pero no aburrido como las bandas sonoras u operas, pero también buscaba algo pesado pero no en exceso que hiciera a mis oídos sangrar y luego aparece The Arcade Fire.

sorry chlolou10 , but i have to disagree with you even though i wish u will be right. i mean, the arcade fire are one of the most amzing bands that i've heard in a very long time, but the reality is that in todays music industry, they just aren't gonna be given the chance to that big because todays public just doesn't respect this type of music. all they want is one hit wonders or Rap music. i saw them in sydeny recently and i have to say...THE ARCADE FIRE=BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!

well 'noiunited', I think what chlolou10 was saying was that they would NOT be as reveared now as they will be in the future (just like Beethoven, etc., who were never appreciated when they were alive as much as they were eventually appreciated by the public).

there is something extraordinary going on with this band. I have lived for 46 yrs upon this earth and ive never seen anything which comes remotely close to the way they perform.

This is something very special. Its like a once in a liftime thing...akin to the genius of the great composers such as mozart, i think in yrs to come people will look back on music like this with the same respect as given to the likes of the beatles and elvis...a truly amazing band..

They were at the Roy Wilkins in St. Paul on September 30th. During this song, Tim jumped off the stage, ran to the left of the auditorium, out of the auditorium, only to reappear about 10 seconds later in the balcony 20 or so feet away from my girlfriend and I. People had to hold him by the tail of his shirt to stop him from falling off the edge, he was playing so far off of it.

I have no idea how they can keep up that energy throughout the entire show. It's insanity.

But I agree. I go to concerts where I'm all excited about finally seeing a band I like live, only to be disappointed when they aren't very good when performing. You can't be a true artist unless you can actually entertain and sound good while on stage.
