We work so hard on working, that we can't focus on the real reason we're in the army. We need to drop our formal and difficult ways so we can just focusing on indulging in and sharing the pure love of God which is much stronger than any other form of affection. You and your territory are an inspiration to my division, and if not that, then you are an inspiration to me. Once again, I want to thank you for you ministry and service and I want you to keep it up.

I want to thank you for your ministry up there in Canada and I just want to say it has a strong impact on how we do things down here, especially because Canada's outreach ministry sets such a high and respectable example. Canada has a more progressive Salvation Army and we have a more orthodox army. The thing is that we get so caught up in the finance and business of the army, we are forgetting the most important thing in The Salvation Army: building a close relationship with the lord.
