This is one of my favorite shows I've seen on TV. At the time it was on here in the UK, I wasn't always well, so I missed quite a lot of episodes, but now I've found it here I can watch it til my hearts content! It really was a really gritty kind of series which is what makes it good. It used to be on after ER at a time here too, so it was like Christmas for me! My two favorite shows, back to back!

I heard major riots broke during the new york black out that happened in the 70's

@l7ary no it was the 2002 major blackout that hit the eastern part of Canada and the US, power was out for 4 days where I live... it was ok here though in Ottawa ON Canada, but I heard it was really bad in the major cities, NY and TO (Canada).
