@killernotafighter Dude, all those "notifications, cost of phone" are subject to change but we all know what it costs w/o any service plan. Same goes w/ text messaging. It's like watching a review of xbox 360 slim and asking "how much does it cost?" while clearly on tv, on the internet, and on newpaper ad, it says the price of it. You want review? Then read tech spec or contact your local retailers. Reading is the best ever.

@tommymxr i dunno bro, it dosent really make sense to pay so much more money for just some silly differences, with a 700mghz and 200mb ram almost to the power of a 1gz processor, and a capacitive touch screen rather than a resistive....even the n900 has better colors, 16 million...the hd2 is lesser, not sure how much tho..
how long does the battery last if you jsut use the phone by call people, and send some sms, and mabye go on facebook/twitter at times, and mabye play a game. how long does it last?
Just got this phone for free from tmobile usa (*should arrive in 2 days) It comes with all that shown here as well as 2 transformers free movies and a few apps as well as guitar hero 5 full mobile game and a 16 gig SD card. Gotta love essentally what is a portable movie player, mp3 player, radio, cell phone, portable pc, web browser for free :)
@SLYFOX944 No, this phone is nothing compared to the iphone. The HD2 lags, lags and o yeah, lags. Not to mention it froze on me at least once every week since i got it. In the middle of texting, while receiving another text at the same time, your screen freezes during the transmission. If you have for example 100 text messages for one person already in history. WHen you want to text that person again, it has to LOAD ALL the messages FIRST, before you can text that person. That means LAG.
@theguy1224 I'am no expert but, my friends iphone 3g lags incredible much. And he doesen't have that many apps or anything and he is a very carefull person... I hate to brake it to you but every phone lags at least onece a week and probalby more, you are just expecting a litle bit to much of the phones. Belive me this phone can be compared to the iphone. @AcDmovie I've been an iphone user for 3 years. I had the 2G, then got the 3G. It NEVER lagged on me. And i had apps on them too. Not many but i did have about 4 screens worth of apps. My HD2 NOW, FACTORY forum, lags. How can that be? O yeah i know why. The OS is garbage. I gave the HD2 a shot because reviews said it was different. IT was better than previous windows phones. Well they were wrong and i regret so much buying this phone. Now i have to hope someone will buy it from me.
@theguy1224 lol, bad luck for you perhaps, for gettin one that was lagging. I know, apparently some people gets this phone and it laggs allot but after when they get a new one, or get it back from repair, they get all happy and it all works out with no problems. It is very important to have warranty, specially on this phone so that you can blame the store and then they might give you a new one. But then there are people who have the kind of luck where they buy this phone and it never fails.
@AcDmovie 80% of the reviews for this phone, will tell you the same thing i've said. Others simply wont admit to the flaws and the rest simply dont care to comment on the flaws. The phone lags in general. Not jus mine but all of them. That is how the OS is. For example, build a LONG text history with someone. Then open up their text history and try to text them right away, i bet you cant. You have to wait til the entire text history loads for that person before you can send them a text.

I'am aware that the phone might have some buggs, and i have witness acouple, but nothing to serious. And last year i had a HTC windows mobile device and it was brilliant, yes it had acouple of buggs but still somthing i was able to live with. But this phone is far better than that one. So i'am indeed going to buy it soon when i get my paycheck :) and i'am looking forward to it.
@AcDmovie Listen, im not saying this phone is total garbage but going from an iphone to this, would be a downgrade. I was just as happy as you when i waited 5 WEEKS to get this phone. I was soo amped to get it. But got quickly disappointed during my first day use of it. My advice is to wait til someone unlocks the iphone 4 for tmobile. Or you can be like me and switch to verizon when the droid x comes out next month lol. But its your money. I can bet 75% you will regret the purchase.

Yes they are allmost the same but the droid x has just alitle bit larger screen. @randal5233 I have one.. I love it! However, call volume is pretty low compared to other phones, sadly. But, the quality/clairity is 2nd to none. It's just a bit low.. even when bumped to max. I just use it on speaker phone. Everything else is absolutely amazing!!

i love it! I know i would do its just as rapid as the iphone only the offer for apps. is a little lower but I think it doesnt matters. the photos are better than the Iphone the multy touche is good too. my one isnt laggy for so far. battery lfe coulde be more... i had to charge it in (when I didnt use it verry much mybe 15 min listened to music) then I had to charge it in 2 day or so
the general use is good no lagg i recommand internet because you need it for a lot of thingscheers

@urheadg0ne i think u better convert ur movies from ur pc and then copy them to sd card but if you'r using coreplayer test them first before converting they may porbably work fine

Just wondering if this phone can access youtube videos. My last Windows mobile phone (4 yrs ago) couldn't do youtube. It's not a deal breaker but it'd be nice if it could. I like the phone's multi touch feature too. I'm waiting to upgrade my aging LG DARE this Summer. It's great that I can still use my 2 gig micro SD card and keep the car charger too.

The Incredibile's screen is a half inch smaller though. I saw a lot that I liked about the HD2 but I decided not to switch carriers.

@ajeeb302 I have this phone too and I agree it absolutely rocks. The only negatives i have to say is the flash is too bright and it has no camera phone but I never used the camera phone so I don't even miss it & the flash has workarounds. In my opinion this is the best phone on the market.
@tommymxr yes (: .. but download skyfire .. because u dont see the flash "things" on the default browser. u can download skyfire for free .. search for it on google. if u download it from ur phone it will automaticly install it. if u download it from ur computer u need to connect ur phone to ur pc trough active sync. then u need to open the folder where u have ur cabinet files. copy the skyfire file in the folder. When ur done go to the folder and install it (: ifyouneedhelpiwouldloveto help :)
well it depends on what you are looking for this is a WinMo which means it is more serious than the Nexus one , you should know that both phones are HTC and they have the same problem Android is cool aswell .
I have the HD2 for 4months now and it is making more than satisfied .
Also consider the HTC EVO4 which is an evolution of the HD2 check it before you do anything

Just got this phone for free from tmobile usa (*should arrive in 2 days) It comes with all that shown here as well as 2 transformers free movies and a few apps as well as guitar hero 5 full mobile game and a 16 gig SD card. Gotta love essentally what is a portable movie player, mp3 player, radio, cell phone, portable pc, web browser for free :)

@SLYFOX944 No, this phone is nothing compared to the iphone. The HD2 lags, lags and o yeah, lags. Not to mention it froze on me at least once every week since i got it. In the middle of texting, while receiving another text at the same time, your screen freezes during the transmission. If you have for example 100 text messages for one person already in history. WHen you want to text that person again, it has to LOAD ALL the messages FIRST, before you can text that person. That means LAG.

@theguy1224 I'am no expert but, my friends iphone 3g lags incredible much. And he doesen't have that many apps or anything and he is a very carefull person... I hate to brake it to you but every phone lags at least onece a week and probalby more, you are just expecting a litle bit to much of the phones. Belive me this phone can be compared to the iphone. But don' take it to seriously. The HD2 is a Beutiful device.

@AcDmovie I've been an iphone user for 3 years. I had the 2G, then got the 3G. It NEVER lagged on me. And i had apps on them too. Not many but i did have about 4 screens worth of apps. My HD2 NOW, FACTORY forum, lags. How can that be? O yeah i know why. The OS is garbage. I gave the HD2 a shot because reviews said it was different. IT was better than previous windows phones. Well they were wrong and i regret so much buying this phone. Now i have to hope someone will buy it from me.

@theguy1224 lol, bad luck for you perhaps, for gettin one that was lagging. I know, apparently some people gets this phone and it laggs allot but after when they get a new one, or get it back from repair, they get all happy and it all works out with no problems. It is very important to have warranty, specially on this phone so that you can blame the store and then they might give you a new one. But then there are people who have the kind of luck where they buy this phone and it never fails.

@AcDmovie 80% of the reviews for this phone, will tell you the same thing i've said. Others simply wont admit to the flaws and the rest simply dont care to comment on the flaws. The phone lags in general. Not jus mine but all of them. That is how the OS is. For example, build a LONG text history with someone. Then open up their text history and try to text them right away, i bet you cant. You have to wait til the entire text history loads for that person before you can send them a text.

@theguy1224 Okey dude. If you say so. i know that a pal to my friend really was happy with it so why shouldn't i? I'am aware that the phone might have some buggs, and i have witness acouple, but nothing to serious. And last year i had a HTC windows mobile device and it was brilliant, yes it had acouple of buggs but still somthing i was able to live with. But this phone is far better than that one. So i'am indeed going to buy it soon when i get my paycheck :) and i'am looking forward to it.

@AcDmovie Listen, im not saying this phone is total garbage but going from an iphone to this, would be a downgrade. I was just as happy as you when i waited 5 WEEKS to get this phone. I was soo amped to get it. But got quickly disappointed during my first day use of it. My advice is to wait til someone unlocks the iphone 4 for tmobile. Or you can be like me and switch to verizon when the droid x comes out next month lol. But its your money. I can bet 75% you will regret the purchase.

@theguy1224 You know what, i'am going to buy this phone and if it is like you say it is, and i regret it, i'll sell it :) and buy a new one. Btw, i live in sweden so there is no tmobile or At&t over here. But the droid x feels abit to big, still a cool device though.

@AcDmovie Wait how are you getting this phone if you have no tmobile over there? Also the droid x and the HD2 is the same size, only difference is the little hump in the back the droid x has. But overall size is the same. How about i sell you mine for almost a fraction of what i paid?? lol. Btw, swedish girls are GORGEOUS. You're lucky to live in sweden. I wish i can move there.

@theguy1224 Well first i don't know how tmobile works, all i know that here in sweden we can get any phone that works with any sim-card from anywhere in the world. Yes they are allmost the same but the droid x has just alitle bit larger screen. Thanks for the offering but no thank you pal, i know some dudes selling this phone brand new swedish version for a good price. And yes the girls here are really really gorgeous. Thnx, Sweden is a great country, not a bad place to live :)

@randal5233 I have one.. I love it! However, call volume is pretty low compared to other phones, sadly. But, the quality/clairity is 2nd to none. It's just a bit low.. even when bumped to max. I just use it on speaker phone. Everything else is absolutely amazing!!

i love it! I know i would do its just as rapid as the iphone only the offer for apps. is a little lower but I think it doesnt matters. the photos are better than the Iphone the multy touche is good too. my one isnt laggy for so far. battery lfe coulde be more... i had to charge it in (when I didnt use it verry much mybe 15 min listened to music) then I had to charge it in 2 day or so
the general use is good no lagg i recommand internet because you need it for a lot of thingscheers

@urheadg0ne i think u better convert ur movies from ur pc and then copy them to sd card but if you'r using coreplayer test them first before converting they may porbably work fine

Just wondering if this phone can access youtube videos. My last Windows mobile phone (4 yrs ago) couldn't do youtube. It's not a deal breaker but it'd be nice if it could. I like the phone's multi touch feature too. I'm waiting to upgrade my aging LG DARE this Summer. It's great that I can still use my 2 gig micro SD card and keep the car charger too.

@ajeeb302 Cool! Thanls for the info, that's good to know. Actually, I just pre-ordered the HTC Incredible for $99 on Verizons's website with free over night delivery and free activation. The Incredibile's screen is a half inch smaller though. I saw a lot that I liked about the HD2 but I decided not to switch carriers.

@ajeeb302 I have this phone too and I agree it absolutely rocks. The only negatives i have to say is the flash is too bright and it has no camera phone but I never used the camera phone so I don't even miss it & the flash has workarounds. In my opinion this is the best phone on the market.

@tommymxr yes (: .. but download skyfire .. because u dont see the flash "things" on the default browser. u can download skyfire for free .. search for it on google. if u download it from ur phone it will automaticly install it. if u download it from ur computer u need to connect ur phone to ur pc trough active sync. then u need to open the folder where u have ur cabinet files. copy the skyfire file in the folder. When ur done go to the folder and install it (: ifyouneedhelpiwouldloveto help :)

well it depends on what you are looking for this is a WinMo which means it is more serious than the Nexus one , you should know that both phones are HTC and they have the same problem Android is cool aswell .
I have the HD2 for 4months now and it is making more than satisfied .
Also consider the HTC EVO4 which is an evolution of the HD2 check it before you do anything

@Kenshin0099 yeah , but maybe you'll have to wait a bit, because to my knowlege only sprint will have it and it is not out on sale yet,And personnaly I will not switch my HD2 till the HD3 is out , the stats are just crazy:1.5Ghz Dual core processor 1Gb ram 32 gb storage 4.5" inch screen with amoled and 1200/800 resolution , 8mpx camera 720p filming , hdmi,4G ............

im in the exact same situation. but i think im goin with the hd2 cause of the hard ware and limitation are higher. and trust me developers are making the port for android 2.1 on the hd2.
