Also, it looks like she's a better match for the household personality-wise than Nelly was. I'm glad Nelly's found a happy home now. :D

Haha, somebody else said "matching like with like always works out better, and well, she´s a tabby. Just like the boys!"

I´m so glad that Nelly is happier now. I visited her the other day and she´s just so relaxed and doesn´t have to keep looking over her shoulder all the time in case Lugosi attacks her. :)

Thanks for asking - she is now living with a good friend of mine, because she has always had problems getting on with one of my tabbies, bully boy Lugosi. He would terrorise her whenever he could, and that would sometimes be 24/7, and even after almost 3 years, it just didn´t work. If I had found a good home for her before now, she would have left already, but until now I have not known and trusted someone enough to give her away. And she is *really happy* there. :)

good, that is the important thing that she is happy. maybe the new owner will be able to brush her. she was so beautiful.

She still IS beautiful! Anneke (new owner) is being really really gentle brushing Nelly, but she is going to upkeep the tradition of getting her shaved every 6 months, which is still the easiest, most painless option for both Nelly and owner.

my oldest cat was doing that to my fiance's business partner when he slept over lastnight :) she doesnt have claws.. i went out to wake him up this morning and Patches was doing it :)
