Yeah its about having fun or whatever but this Tekken is the hardest of all Tekkens to have fun in its just juggle juggle juggle = win. I dont juggle or take the time to learn how too I can win wthout juggling but the fact that there will be a match going to the 5th round and it was intense up to that point and i get wall juggled is just gay. 2-3 fucking juggles and you're fucking dead lol wtf

What exactly defines a "noob." Usually people say it is someone that does not know how to play? So how does one play? What makes a real Tekken player? Would a "real Tekken player" ever loose to a noob? Is noob just a term someone uses out frustration and anger? If Chuck Norris would of kicked Bruce Lee's ass, would have Bruce called him a "noob?" I use juggles. Alot of people likes them becuz thats why tekken 6 was designed to have much faster motions. and this one dude told me its cheap to use juggles to win. it doesn't matter whether u do juggles or not. its ur call.. its just a game after all

@BifordusMaximus I feel the same. I played online for a little, then got made fun of over Xbox Live because all the juggles I did with Kazuya was just Rising Uppercut and Tsunami Kick. I'm not a newb because of that, I'm just trying to enjoy playing, but people take it WAAAAAAY too seriously.

Listen, dude. I don't care what people say about juggling and crap. I almost NEVER juggle. I just act like I'm playing Tekken 4 and regularly fight, not just act like I'm better than everybody else because I can do a lousy 12-hit juggle for 46 damage. The point is, it doesn't matter who's better and who stinks. All that matters is having fun. Thumb down this comment all you want, I'm just expressing a point.

The problem is, even though the main focus of the game is juggling, I hate it. Basically, whoever gets hit first loses (at least at the top tier level of fighting). For me, that takes out the joy of fighting. They should have adopted the air control from SC4 or at least kept it in from Tekken 2 ( I dont remember if it was in Tekken 3 or tag). I want a fight, not a circus match.

actualy at top tier level of fighting a lot of people dont even use juggles they are just absolute masters at defensive play and punish you. I know because i always get put agains t the tekken lord when im 8th kyu or something lol only a handful of 4th dans and above can pull off good juggles. others can usually be easily beaten with a decent set of offensive moves

@BifordusMaximus True. If you get hit once, you lose half your life. First a launcher, then a juggle, then a bounce move, then another juggle. They play defense, than a simple uppercut and they...just...keep...repeating­.....the same juggle. It's just stupid.

@BifordusMaximus Tekken 6 isn't all about juggling.. its about tricking your opponents leaving them defenseless and open for a combo (mind games) most high level players would just play mind games the entire round till one of them gets a launch then combo.. no pro player gets launched easily.. for average they would be.. its boring if its just juggle this and there.. poking (mind game) is part of the game.. tekken has a more technical side to it... side stepping, cancels, feints & tech traps.

All I can say is that asuka is as beatable as any other caracther its bout skill, if some players use allways the same tricks or combos its because the opponent fails to guard or to counter.

To begin a jugling combo you have to throw the enemy to the air, people fail to read the moves that does that and then they say things like the ones you see arround here

For exemple arround min 6 you see lars performing the same combo 5 times, and does it happen, cause asuka fails to get up and guard down.

No, timing isn't really strict, mashing works, but knowing the timing makes it a lot easier. The thing is each chain in the throw has two options. For example the Screwdriver 2+4,3+4,1+3,1+2,1+2+(3_4), the ending can be 1+2+3 (break with 1) or 1+2+4 (break with 2)

The problem is you don't see which he'll be using, but if mashing 2 doesn't work, he's probably using the break-with-1 options all the way through. Look at the flowchart on gamefaqs (tekken 6 arcade version)

The point of Tekken is to hit the enemy and not get hit in return. That's all there is to it. Combos are only means in achieving that goal.

Asuka is hardly a "noob"character as many "veterans" would say. They're just whining due to the fact that the world favorite Raven sucks so much at dealing damage that you won't even get past 60 range with a 7 hit string. Asuka can do 70 in 5.

"Veterans" are the people who want to impress crowd with nonstop juggles and combos without button mashing their sticks or controllers, while making sure whatever move they perform are cool even if impractical.

Too true. Asuka was never meant to put on "shows", as I call the long waiting games that almost showcases the entire repertoire of characters involved.

That is Raven's forte along with Yoshimitsu and a few others; characters who would get crushed if the opponent is used to their cheap spammable attacks, since their stances are mostly impractical unless the enemy zones out on you to allow you to perform them.

And if only the damage calculation wasn't nerfed too much; Asuka = Monster Juggler.
