I've got the same thing happening, although my gun completely goes as well :( It either takes 30 minutes to happen or instantly if i walk into a tank? Really annoying!
Oh yeah, I get it this bad too. I've got a 560Ti RECOMMENDED on the hardware specifications of the game, yet it still fails to work properly. And yes, it only happens on BF3. In no game have I EVER come across this before...
@TheBTraiin i had the same issue on my Asus gtx560ti 900mhz. FIX: Use MSI after Burner to underclock your card to a 560 stock....Set Core clock to 820mhz, shader clock to 1640 and memory clock to 2000mhz.....In BF3 your settings will have to be adjusted also, use custom settings and set everything to max except put texture detail to high and AA to x2 (or even off at first and see how u get on)
@kyleotoole Oh yea sorry, also set your V-Sync to off.....Dont worry it will run without tearing anyway as the card will run it close to your refresh rate anyway at those settings.......even textures set to high instead of ultra the graphics look pretty much identical except maybe smoke has a lil less detail
@kyleotoole Thanks for your advice, but I have literally tried everything, even underclocking below stock, yet it still happens. I refuse to do anything else until DICE comes up with a fix that WORKS. It's their responsibility now... The common theme I notice is it seems to happen most on maps with jets.
@TheBTraiin Maps with jets was the same with me, its the larger ones......Now, can you plz tell me did you de-clock your GPU's memory ? Its not enough to just underclock the core's......please try again and make sure your memory is underclocked aswell, to remain proportionate with the cores......DONT GIVE UP MAN, I FELL YOUR PAIN !!! its an issue with the frostbite 2 engine, as i have seen simular things in NFS: The Run which uses the same engine.....the artifacting was minor compared to BF3
To people replying with the usual modus operandi for artifact fixing: Nope. Doesn't work. It's up to Nvidia and/or DICE to fix this, nothing to do with our hardware.
@sPINE BF3 is very demanding, have you ran furmark on your GPU? Stress testing your card with other software might help pinpoint why it happens with BF3 only and not other games. Somewhat of a long shot, but still a possibility. The other only faults could be around RAM, a file corruption in the game (but I already said to reinstall) or some kind of bad play from your card. The last measure would be borrowing a card from someone else and testing BF3 with it. Let us know how it goes, good luck!

You should also try reinstalling the game.

It would help if you told us your PC setup, driver version, GPU temperatures.

@ht3k It's not like you could know, but after reinstalling the game the problem has only gotten worse!
I get artifacts after 5 minutes of playing, even with AA both turned off! My Pc now just freezes and needs a reboot :S

Damn, didn't know it was this bad and it where these artifacts :S

Then explain to me why this only happens with BF3.

Most of these issues are hardware related!
