  • This song has a badass groove. Love it.

  • I hope everybody knows that is George Harrison on lead Guitar. This was a gift from Eric for George letting him play lead on while my guitar gently weeps on the white album. If you look on the 45 copy it has George as co-writer

  • it's married to mabel whoever she is . Harrison's guitatr still gives me chills .

  • Am I the only one that hears Then I told you about our kid, now he's married tomato instead of now he's married to Mabel..

  • cheers mate nice 1

  • My ears THANK YOU for playing this! I was on my way to buy my FIRST pair of bell bottoms 1st time I heard it! My mom was driving...

  • "Married to Mabel"?!? ~ the pause ~ and then the classic riff. Interesting how something so simple can be so effective.

  • That is like driving on the highway to this song on acid.

  • WOW so cool! thanks for the post. Two of my favs Eric & George wrote this great song, and some other talent created an amazing game, but only the genious of Jokerkaaos put them together. Now I know what the song means...wow.

  • George Harrison and Eric wrote this and George played guitar on this original..Great tune!!!

  • Well done for posting this, no other version beats this, or even comes close, nothing!

  • Yessss! Thanks.

me too! someone please put this up on didgital?? sorry

  • the bassline is fucking SWEET!!!!

  • Sexy Song.

  • Thanks for posting.

  • Clear guitar sound! Impressive!!!!

  • the brief guitar solo in the middle gives me chills and haunts me, best ever...

  • Thats Harrison playing at 1:08.

  • Pretty sure @about 1:08 Geo Harrison plays, paying back EC for playing on While my Guitar gently weeps. Not enough ppl give Jack Bruce enough credit for his great bass - here in the lead in and in the song.

  • @MrMo411 r u kidding? Jack Bruce is one of the three greatest bass players of all time. When people attended Cream concerts expecting to go wild over God, they came up in wide-eyed wonder at that short Scottish chap that just shook their world and took them over the rainbow. Bruce was awesome, in concert, in the studio ... just possibly everywhere except for his fear of Ginger.

  • @phddddd You are right. I would say Jack Bruce is the greatest bass player in the world.

  • @phddddd PHD....D I agree about Jack Bruce and many of us who grew up with Cream know him for what he is but too many just know of EC. Crossroads ("EC Lead ,,,, and vocals)for example wouldn't be what it is without the great bass by Jack. So I still say, NOT ENOUGH ppl give Jack his due.

  • @MrMo411 OK, I dig what you're saying. I used to go to Cream concert and get as close to the bass speakers as I could. I am sure I heard Beethoven rifts in the middle of the chaotic breaks in Jack's classic trades with EC while madman Ginger thumped away in the engine room. This group was simply marvelous. Way way ahead of other groups at this time when the technology was not yet as assured in the mixing booth. Numero Uno ... Ichiban ... the Cream of the Crop.

  • love this song.

  • My favorite Cream/Clapton song ever. How is it possible there is no live footage of Cream paying this song during 68? Wished they had done a promo video like "Sunshine of Your Love" for this song!

  • i'm lucky enough to have the original album it 's from

  • Very Nice

  • One of my all time favourites. Thanks

  • Excellent! Thank you!! Gotta hear the guitars in this song every now & then, or go nuts!

  • Clapton the singer

  • love love it~~who doesn't know all the words??

  • although.. not givin credit.. ringo wrote part of this tune.. also

  • One of my favorite Clapton tunes ! I love to listen to this on my truck's stereo while driving down the road .

  • THANK YOU!!!!! I have been looking for this version for a long time. The original version is one of my all time favorite songs. None of the other versions are even close. Thanks again!!!

  • killer song this feeds my soul so,so good

  • Heh... hard to believe this is the only video here with the original Badge, and I only posted it as a test run for videos for this game! I guess the low quality audio helped the copyright disclaimer succeed. I'll definitely leave this vid up to stay.

  • @Jokerkaaos It might also be because you changed the title slightly. I've noticed on other uploads that this helps evade the censors for awhile. lol. nice one anyway, thanks.

  • @Jokerkaaos Thank you.

  • Wow, this is great song. What game is this?

  • Audiosurf. You can get it on steam for about 3 pounds or download it if you dont mind little glitches

  • Gorgeous song! Thank you!

  • This is the only version of Badge that I acknowledge. Thanks for uploading!

  • written by... eric clapton... george harrison and ringo starr in mid...1968

  • Starr added one line of lyrics: "I told you bout the swans, that they live in the park." I believe he had his son Zach in his arms as he was walking into the studio, and the line flew right off his head, as many dads do in speaking lovingly to their children.

  • Absolutely awesome. Thank you so much for posting the original. One of my favorite songs in the world.

  • Glad I was able to win the copyright appeal. I think this is the only version of this song on youtube!

  • Comment removed

  • This song is great, and thanks for orig i hate the new one that cream made where he sings fast, not saying that he sucks because he changed it but.

  • Thanks for posting the real deal. I love this song for some reason and I always did.
