  • Why were the remaining parts of the train burned on site? I don't see the logic there. Why not collect any of the remaining potentially hazardous material up and store it?.

  • most of the medics that responded are dead from my understanding.. do not know the exact numbers.. many from disease

  • My mom's family and I are all Livingston natives. I was 3 at the time and we lived in Springfield at that particular time. When I was 21, my husband and I lived in an apartment at the end of E. Social St., very close to the derailment sight. Dr. Milton (Dentist office close to Town Hall) has old pictures of the derailment haning in the waiting room.

  • I would really like to speak to anyone that may have more information on this wreck, even more specific any possible deaths and or info on cancers or disease casued my this.
