@michaelkillerman problem with your statement is the NSX is different. It is very hard to get extra ponies out of a NSX w/o going Forced induction. Just about all aftermarket intakes give you a loss in HP on the car. But Honda does know how to pull out power out of small engines. (and the light weight helps too)

NSX is in a class BY ITSELF. It is very much Underrated in contrast to those Mustangs, Camaros, Evos, M3, and Subarus.
The NSX did exactly what it was supposed to do in 1991... it ate everything within its $65K price range as well as cars that cost 2x that.
Maybe this 0-60 craze was partly because of the Toyota Supra MKIV, which came out in 1993, that really put the Acura NSX to waste, esp. for the price.
Some of you need to look up the definition of exotic. I am pretty sure it says nothing about being 6 figures in the definition. @TheEuroperules First off, I dont think Honda sucks but to say Sti's, Evo's, and Mustangs should be compared/same "class" as an NSX is kind of dumb. NSX is a supercar and one that is 7/8 years old with miles is still 10-20 thousand more exspensive than the cars you listed brand new. If you want to compare an NSX to something...try Porsche and Ferrari.
@cubano1389 Yeah, the Mustang is definitely in a different class. Because if you did a straight line race like the one here, a Mustang GT 5.0 would pull multiple car lengths on the NSX.

@Nebraskahusker23 Depends. I don't know about 0-100 but I know the later model NSX was ripping a 0-60 around 4.5 secs which is what the 2012 Mustang GT does. Older Mustang would be toast for sure.

NSX is not considered a supercar. It's a mid engine sports car. The Porsche 911, ZO6/ZR1, and GTR are considered sports cars as well.
If we're talking supercars then a Ferrari or Lamborghini is one.
