aww! this is such a beautiful video. like someone else posted - this is how dogs are supposed to socialize, indeed! I have a puppy too, but there are no sweet dogs his size in the neighbourhood so he mostly has to deal with us boring humans :)

Thank you! I can't take credit though - Madeline and Chloe are inseperable! We can't walk by Chloe's house without Madeline pulling to go to their door- and same with Chloe when she walks by! So they have daily playdates and we walk all our dogs together. But don't let size dissuade you - two of Madeline's BEST canine friends are GIANT dogs! She just loves Cal and Oliver to pieces and both weigh nearly 100 pounds! :)

Thanks, Roeleke. They are the best of friends! During the winter, they don't have many play dates. Now that the nicer weather is here, they are just overjoyed to see each other! :)

My girls have a human friend like that. We absolutely cannot walk by her house without stopping or Heather will refuse to keep walking and whines. It's gotten where I have to find out if she's home before walking that way! Lori used to have a westie but he's at the rainbow bridge so she gets her westie fix from my girls. They adore her :)

Yes, they are just perfect for each other! Size, energy level, both are alphas too, and yet they sometimes submit to the other. Its fascinating to watch them play!

Yes, they still just LOVE each other! Its just hilarious. If we walk by their home and Chloe isn't out, Madeline sits in their yard and whines and cries, and won't continue on our walk! Chloe does the same thing when they pass our home.

Thanks, Mari. Murphy is part border terrier, and as is typical of the breed, he'd be GONE for a run the moment he's off leash! He always comes back, with a big smile on his face!
