This one of my top ten favorite moments from Transformers Animated but my favorite clip is at 1:01 Starscream throws a device at Megatron but somehow Megatron hear it come and catch without turning away to avoid the attack and threw it back at POOR Starscream

It also funny that Megatron told his Decepticons that they need to work together but Megatron and Starscream did the other side of what he was saying

G1 stuff is more or less #1 only in Nostalgia. Rewatch the series today and you'll notice that the entire thing sucks big-time at writing and whatnot.

I wouldn't say it sucks, but I do feel it's overrated. Ultimately, all Transformer series have a number of continuity errors.

G1 Megatron would be jealous if he saw this. Starscream has officially made a bigger fool of himself then his G1 counterpart ever did. It's also ironic, that Megatron beat the shit out of Starscream four times in row and never suspected anything.

I don't know that he didn't suspect anything. It's entirely possible he realised that Starscream has somehow become unkillable, but kept on beating the slag out of him while he had Sumdac working on a way to kill him permanently. Or alternatively was having entirely too much fun smacking Starscream around and was quite happy when he kept coming back. :D

It's never hinted he realized that, although it didn't surprise him when Starscream was still alive after he beat him up the last time in this montage. Actually, I wonder if Starscream still qualifies as "alive" since he's spark is gone. One could view him as a transformer inequivalent of one of the undead.
