Obviously these are framed situations as almost all propaganda pictures from wars. It's simply too dangerous to play a hero on the battle field and men throwing molotovs at tanks or attaching explosives on them was quite rare and often awarded a medallion of some sort, because it's so fool-hardy.

However, the co-operation between themselves and Germany was extremely tenuous. The HWA sending panzerfausts without proper training is one example.

Take Stalingrad.. most people seem to think the Russians outnumbered the Germans 10:1 in the streets when in reality 9 days out of ten Germany had more forces in the city. Even in the Battle of Kursk when Germany was on its knees and Russia was in its prime, the Russians only outnumbered the Germans 2:1

Well, what I know from the history is that when the Germans first encountered a T-34, they were shocked when their usual anti-tank weapons and tank guns bounced off the former's thick, sloping armor. It pushed them to use the 88 as an anti-tank weapon and develop new and more powerful tanks (esp. the Tiger and Panther). I think that if the hand-held weapons shown in the video were effective against the T-34, then the Germans wouldn't have bothered to use the 88 and push for the new tanks.

The panzerfaust portion I would have to say is probably the best. The funny thing, though, is when the panzerfaust ended up in non-German speaking countries(allied to Germany or not)the soldiers could not read the warnings on the weapon. Thus they fired it like a rifle and ended up with severe burns because of the flame that came out of the back.

They sent some panzerfausts to the Finns, but didn't explain how to use them. The first Finnish soldiers using them against the Soviets thought the panzerfaust shells were intended to be thrown like a javelin. You'd think the HWA could at least have translated a few manuals before shipping them!

Go read a book troll! Yes, the Finns were an amazing army, Simo Haya has over 700 confirmed kills from the Winter War (highest total of any sniper ever) alone. They were a nasty enough menace that the Soviets agreed to a peace accord instead of their usual move in and take over policy they used everywhere else at the end of the war. However, the co-operation between themselves and Germany was extremely tenuous. The HWA sending panzerfausts without proper training is one example.

@sharebear421 Please state your sources. This is a gross misconseption. Germany caused massive losses by focusing their forces and outnumbering the enemy.. surrounding them and forcing prisoners. Take Stalingrad.. most people seem to think the Russians outnumbered the Germans 10:1 in the streets when in reality 9 days out of ten Germany had more forces in the city. Even in the Battle of Kursk when Germany was on its knees and Russia was in its prime, the Russians only outnumbered the Germans 2:1

This is funny propaganda since none of those weapons would be able to destroy the T-34 they're shooting at. It would take an 88 or a similar weapon. Except for the fact that someone set the thing on fire at the end, the tank doesn't look very damaged.

Well, what I know from the history is that when the Germans first encountered a T-34, they were shocked when their usual anti-tank weapons and tank guns bounced off the former's thick, sloping armor. It pushed them to use the 88 as an anti-tank weapon and develop new and more powerful tanks (esp. the Tiger and Panther). I think that if the hand-held weapons shown in the video were effective against the T-34, then the Germans wouldn't have bothered to use the 88 and push for the new tanks.

The panzerfaust portion I would have to say is probably the best. The funny thing, though, is when the panzerfaust ended up in non-German speaking countries(allied to Germany or not)the soldiers could not read the warnings on the weapon. Thus they fired it like a rifle and ended up with severe burns because of the flame that came out of the back.
