  • Can u make demonstration how to trim your finger nails or your toenails with that hook hand ???

  • Hi theguywiththehook,

I always wondered how dressing can be done one-handed.

My respect for that ! Now it really feels kind of stupid when I am

unable to do this correctly with both my hands - I will try to learn

the paperclip-trick from you, may come useful ! All the best, Captain !

  • thats really impressive, do you drive? jus wondering

  • @connaught2008 Yes, I drive.

  • @connaught2008 Yes, I drive.

  • You clean up better than I do, sir.

  • I admire you !!!!!

  • How did you lose your hand:

  • a salute 4 the humble guy there!

  • you look like a pirate with the other arm. ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!

  • wow!, I can't believe you only took 4:45mins to dress up, I have hands and it takes me like half an hour to dress up haha, you are an amazing person, you never give up and I admire people like you! you are a positive person and you give many amputees hope, all the best to you. *hugs*

  • Man!

I finally understand how tough it is to get dressed without one hand.

  • I want a prostehtic arm myself, but I want something old and ancient looking, made of wood and rusty metal parts. I want to scare people.

  • thats not remotely funny

  • Aw, come on, man...haven't you ever heard the song "Man With a Cast Iron Arm"?

  • nope is it any good

  • i am an engineering student, i plan on desighning and building custom arms for people who like fun!

  • let me know how that goes. you may have a customer.

  • oh shit very impressive man u just teached me how 2 tie my tie lol go0d shit

  • Thanks!!!!

  • good trick with the paperclip!

  • Your inspiring, you should try a robotic hand.

  • the robotic hands cost WAY to much for a average person to buy. plus they are not even released yet to the public.

  • i dont care if i lost my right or left i can use them both the same thank god

  • oh you put a shirt under the shirt..lol

thx now i can dress right, the right way

  • Hi. I think it's amazing how you do that! You look like a soldier, did you lose your arm in War?

  • Hello...We appreciate your videos for the educational experience. We watched them in our Idaho State University Occupational Therapy class and they gave us much insight. You have a nice house...is that a bidet.

  • i feel you man its funny how it all comes down to finding wat u looking for in youtube, how you can find ANYTHING from tutorials on how to dress up to anythng ur curious of learning u'll find it on youtube lol

  • And all it took was 5 minutes, really cool.

  • Amazing how you manage this!!!!!!

  • Ok I will take the Gay approach to this. You are one hell of a hot looking guy! ;-) I am a Suit and Tie nut and WOW I would love to go out with you! ;-)

  • Thanks but I'm not looking for a date.

  • if u dont mind me asking how did u lose ur arm?

  • Not cool man.

  • Wow. You're awesome. I wear a shirt and tie every day and never imagined what it would be like with only one hand. Thank you.

  • Great job--keep them coming! PS What kind of stump sock are you wearing in this video?

  • The sock is a hiking sock for Thorlo. it is meant to be worn on a foot.

  • I would think that a regular sock would bunch up and not make as smooth/tight a fit as a prosthetic sock, i.e., where does the heel of the sock fit inside the prosthesis? Maybe the prosthesis fits more loosely than I had imagined?

  • The length of my nub is such that the sock heel ends up over my elbow. The sock is thicker than the standard pros socks but it is still a tight fit.
