the song sounds a little bittersweet to me, like sure he killed bat, but when you think of the broad spectrum of people he's killed, how silvia steals his bike and shinobu and henry ditch him. Its a little depressing, other than a katana, travis has almost nothing

@tetradro It's a sex den. Basically guys pay to go in, and the glass is one-way. The girls do whatever they're asked (within limits of decency, natch) and the guys can do whatever they want to themselves without the girls seeing them. Well, you DID ask...
There is no fake Sylvia. Not much info is given at the end of the game, but we can assume with almost 100% sureness that Travis did take down the UAA (we don't really know how) and Sylvia had to make money by working in the peep show. During this time, she realized that everything she thought was wrong, that the assassins ARE real people, and that making them kill each other for sport is wrong. She also realized her love for Travis, which is why she's so happy to see him in the end.
IMO, the first one had way more of that punkish style that Suda puts in most of his games, and I liked how Travis looked and acted more in the first one, too. (He seems much more serious in the second one, while in the first he always had that calm, punkish attitude and dialogue.) But the second one did improve on a lot of things that the first had some trouble with, so I love both the same. I love No More Heroes for it's attitude and personality, and No More Heroes 2 for improving upon the 1st.

I just finished it and I was disappointed, there was no explanation as to how sylvia wound up in a love hotel, they never explained who the little girl jeane was at the end of the first, they didn't reveal sylvia's promise to shinobu, plus shinobu got the shaft, you only get to play with her for 2 fights then she disappears? that's crap, plus why make henry a playable character if its just for 1 fight in his dream? but the thing that got me the most was it was just to short
I also hated that you couldn't free roam like in the 1st game, that was one of the things I loved, he has a badass bike in the sequel and you only get to ride it 2 times? LAME!!! Plus why start at rank 51 if your just gonna take a dozen shortcuts? I know I"m bitching, but I just had to get this out of my system.
I just hope that there's a sequel, but god knows how long it would take before it would come out. If they had included free roaming on your bike, more katanas, the ability to switch between the 3 playable characters, a dozen more rank battles, answers to all the unsolved questions, the return of jeane as an ally and more than one challenge fight, it would be the best sequel ever. But then not much would be left for future games, I just hope they get another sequel soon, cause I love this series.

This scene shows that both Travis and Sylvia have left Santa Destroy, so this probably means these scenes in the booth are set in the future? But in the end of NMH1 you see Sylvia with her daughter Jeane. I'm guessing these two scenes are in two different parts of the timeline?

l read this off of a gamespot forum and someone said that after Batt was killed, assassinating was no longer popular and with the fall of the UAA, Sylvia went to work as w/e she is in the booth. So Travis went to find her and supposedly the two are going to make Santa Destroy back to an assassin home.

i think suda51 will make travis and syliva make a alliance or something and try to take down the UAA and therefore comes no more heroes 3 where you could possibly play as someone new like shinobui or however you spell her name or henry even or a new character and you take down the uaa together or just let travis do it lol
Seems like all those scenes with the girl behind the glass (which turns out to have been Sylvia the entire time) take place after the events of the second game.
Travis shows up regularly, and instead of getting a peep show he has Sylvia tell him the story of what happened during NMH2.
What all this or the added "Santa Destroy needs us" could really mean, I'm not to sure of just yet.
Who knows if a next game is even going to happen. Suda's said he's unsure about whether or not a sequel's going to happen, but then again he said that at the end of the first game.
But yeah, you're right, that's what I was thinking. Something's gone wrong in Santa Destroy after Travis (assumedly) takes down the UAA, and now he and Sylvia need to go back to set things right.
that and Suda is the BIGGEST liar in gaming, haha. Theres no doubt in my mind that the No More Heroes universe will grow and evolve through sequels spin offs, and im pretty sure Suda will try to get this animated, it deserves an animated series.
Fantastic , the ending is just , WOW. I finish the game and i still think this is the best Sequel game i ever play. Some plot holes for the ending , but some logic . Awesome story , can't wait to NM3 .

The only thing that I wanted to know is, what ever happened to that little girl named Jeane that was with Sylvia in the end of No More Heroes 1? Wikipedia said it is Sylvia's daughter. The only thing I could come up with is that the little girl left town with Sylvia, so that might explain why Sylvia is a stripper to provide for her and her daughter Jeane.
I think Travis told Sylvia to leave Santa Destroy because of the UAA and he loves her. Since Travis is #1 again and he didn't want to fight anymore, he told Sylvia to leave town and he'll meet up with her one day. I think he stayed in Santa Destroy until it was safe to leave because he is #1 and everyone is after him. When he finds her, he says "Let's go home"..."Santa Destroy needs us." I think that Santa Destroy is taken over by the UAA and Travis needs Sylvia's help to stop them for good.
Alright, I'm starting to piece together some of the ending scene and its canon.
In the beginning of the game, we see (in a first person view), someone going to visit Sylvia. Note her comment: "Oh, it's you again. I can tell, because you never say a word". This seems to suggest that Travis has been visiting her here before (meaning this scene takes place some time after Batt's death). Because of the way its set up, Sylvia could not see Travis, and because he never spoke, she had no idea...
...that it was Travis. The whole game is seemingly a flashback of Travis's second run up the UAA instead of taking place in real time, as Sylvia recounts the story of Travis. This time, however, Travis reveals himself, and they seemingly leave together and go back to Santa Destroy. How Sylvia ended up here isn't clear, but it's safe to assume the UAA tanked or something.
Hope this helps clear some things up. It'll be interesting to see if NMH3 goes into further detail here.
I'm also wondering if Travis got out of the "business" after it almost destroyed him (If it wasn't for Sylvia, he would have made a greasemark on the pavement), or how he started to feel again (Alice's death really set him off). That'd explain why Travis wouldn't be the main character anymore. It'll be interesting to see what happens to him.
By the way, I don't know if anyone made the connection, but the theme at beginning of the credits was remixed for the Ranking Up theme. Just saying.
Paradise... what a way to end Travis' last game. The end of the game hearkens back to the conversation before your very first assassination mission in NMH1. You and Death Metal, discussing his paradise.
It seems that Travis' idea of paradise has changed since then. The character development between the two games was really quite significant, and I liked how we could follow Travis' development as a dynamic character all the way to his end.
I read one of Suda 51 citation on Wikipedia Engilsh Version, there's only 2 no more heroes on Wii. He said:"I think this is the last NMH that is going to be developed on Wii, To expand NMH to new possibilities, we need a new platform. A remake of NMH is coming on Xbox 360 and PS3 call No More Heroes: Paradise!
@Maxssx3 Problem, the game is on japan, and suda doesnt want to port NMH2... And the port was not made by Grasshopper... So, Suda is not in that HD project...
SUDA 51 has A LOT of explaining to do in the next game, because there are a lot of plot holes I would like filled up. But this game was still as awesome as the previous one.
Anyway, for those who didn't get the point, Shinobu is (most likely) still alive. Henry and Silvia were still alive at the end of the game, so I doubt she'd be any different. Still, the way that Travis blew her off, I think that might be the end their relationship-- it's interesting, actually. This could mean that she's written out of the series if NMH3 takes place in Santa Destroy-- or it could give an interesting new angle in another place with her as a playable character or as a cameo.
I have to say that I'm relieved. When Suda claimed that this would be "the end of Travis's story", I was concerned that they were going to kill him off-- and quite frankly, I think I speak for all of us when I say that we would have been all PO'd if Suda did that. The cliffhanger ending isn't as wild as the first, but it is just as interesting. I wonder what role Travis will play, if any, in Suda's future works.
i dont really understand why Sylvia is telling the story through the glass window the entire time. i have my own interpretation of what it is but im not sure if its right or not. i would like to have somebody elses opinion about it. it would help alot. also, this song is what made the end of the game fufilling to me. i dont no why, but i love it.

l read this off of a gamespot forum and someone said that after Batt was killed, assassinating was no longer popular and with the fall of the UAA, Sylvia went to work as w/e she is in the booth. So Travis went to find her and supposedly the two are going to make Santa Destroy back to an assassin home.

@ElliFong Calm down. Just think about it however; Santa Destroy was the assassin home for both Sylvia and Travis. If Santa Destroy, now an assassin-free city, needs a former UAA agent and former two-time Assassin champion, you can obviously infer that Santa Destroy is going to be reverted back into an assassin home.

i think suda51 will make travis and syliva make a alliance or something and try to take down the UAA and therefore comes no more heroes 3 where you could possibly play as someone new like shinobui or however you spell her name or henry even or a new character and you take down the uaa together or just let travis do it lol

Seems like all those scenes with the girl behind the glass (which turns out to have been Sylvia the entire time) take place after the events of the second game.
Travis shows up regularly, and instead of getting a peep show he has Sylvia tell him the story of what happened during NMH2.
What all this or the added "Santa Destroy needs us" could really mean, I'm not to sure of just yet.

Who knows if a next game is even going to happen. Suda's said he's unsure about whether or not a sequel's going to happen, but then again he said that at the end of the first game.
But yeah, you're right, that's what I was thinking. Something's gone wrong in Santa Destroy after Travis (assumedly) takes down the UAA, and now he and Sylvia need to go back to set things right.

that and Suda is the BIGGEST liar in gaming, haha. Theres no doubt in my mind that the No More Heroes universe will grow and evolve through sequels spin offs, and im pretty sure Suda will try to get this animated, it deserves an animated series.

Fantastic , the ending is just , WOW. I finish the game and i still think this is the best Sequel game i ever play. Some plot holes for the ending , but some logic . Awesome story , can't wait to NM3 .

The only thing that I wanted to know is, what ever happened to that little girl named Jeane that was with Sylvia in the end of No More Heroes 1? Wikipedia said it is Sylvia's daughter. The only thing I could come up with is that the little girl left town with Sylvia, so that might explain why Sylvia is a stripper to provide for her and her daughter Jeane.

I think Travis told Sylvia to leave Santa Destroy because of the UAA and he loves her. Since Travis is #1 again and he didn't want to fight anymore, he told Sylvia to leave town and he'll meet up with her one day. I think he stayed in Santa Destroy until it was safe to leave because he is #1 and everyone is after him. When he finds her, he says "Let's go home"..."Santa Destroy needs us." I think that Santa Destroy is taken over by the UAA and Travis needs Sylvia's help to stop them for good.

Alright, I'm starting to piece together some of the ending scene and its canon.
In the beginning of the game, we see (in a first person view), someone going to visit Sylvia. Note her comment: "Oh, it's you again. I can tell, because you never say a word". This seems to suggest that Travis has been visiting her here before (meaning this scene takes place some time after Batt's death). Because of the way its set up, Sylvia could not see Travis, and because he never spoke, she had no idea...

...that it was Travis. The whole game is seemingly a flashback of Travis's second run up the UAA instead of taking place in real time, as Sylvia recounts the story of Travis. This time, however, Travis reveals himself, and they seemingly leave together and go back to Santa Destroy. How Sylvia ended up here isn't clear, but it's safe to assume the UAA tanked or something.
Hope this helps clear some things up. It'll be interesting to see if NMH3 goes into further detail here.

I'm also wondering if Travis got out of the "business" after it almost destroyed him (If it wasn't for Sylvia, he would have made a greasemark on the pavement), or how he started to feel again (Alice's death really set him off). That'd explain why Travis wouldn't be the main character anymore. It'll be interesting to see what happens to him.
By the way, I don't know if anyone made the connection, but the theme at beginning of the credits was remixed for the Ranking Up theme. Just saying.

Paradise... what a way to end Travis' last game. The end of the game hearkens back to the conversation before your very first assassination mission in NMH1. You and Death Metal, discussing his paradise.
It seems that Travis' idea of paradise has changed since then. The character development between the two games was really quite significant, and I liked how we could follow Travis' development as a dynamic character all the way to his end.

Anyway, for those who didn't get the point, Shinobu is (most likely) still alive. Henry and Silvia were still alive at the end of the game, so I doubt she'd be any different. Still, the way that Travis blew her off, I think that might be the end their relationship-- it's interesting, actually. This could mean that she's written out of the series if NMH3 takes place in Santa Destroy-- or it could give an interesting new angle in another place with her as a playable character or as a cameo.

I have to say that I'm relieved. When Suda claimed that this would be "the end of Travis's story", I was concerned that they were going to kill him off-- and quite frankly, I think I speak for all of us when I say that we would have been all PO'd if Suda did that. The cliffhanger ending isn't as wild as the first, but it is just as interesting. I wonder what role Travis will play, if any, in Suda's future works.
