In the Minish Cap, Link seals Vaati for the first time, but Vaati escapes in Four Swords.

I think that Vaati was misunderstood.

He was not really evil it was the hearts of man that was evil.

I was really hoping that Vaati would be the villain in Phantom Hourglass (they were hinting at it with all the ominous eyes drawn on the walls) but instead we get some sort of tentacle monster named Bellum. Vaati needs to be in Skyward Sword. Hell, he needs his own game, his own TV show, his own comic series... oh, wait he has one of those on deviantART.

I dunno... Vaati was a good villain but I still prefer Gannondorf/Ganon. He was more about brute strength which fits in more with the whole power/wisdom/courage theme. Vaati is more like an evil version of Zelda.

I write Game designs, hoping one day they'll get accepted and created. In one of them, Vaati is evil at first, but after defeating him he has a change of heart and joins Link. In another (a mix of Zelda and PKMN) Vaati is the 1st Gym Leader and joins the character after being defeated.

Ganondorf is a man who was raised in a all female environment who unforchanatly ended up being raised by two elemental hags who bicker at one another over whose prettier, but they still rose ganondorf to be a badass because he was out in the middle of the desert then works his way up in Hyrule Castle, gets evil powers, and kills a king, then gets a floating mansion above lava with no bridge...

Gannondorf in OOT was about as badass as my little sisters pug, and Vaati is not fruity just cause he wears purple, FYI the color purple is associated with psychic abilities and magic power as well as royalty, and his plans actually work to some extent, all Gannondorf does is have his army get the wussy hylean king to surrender, then loses Zelda and happen to get lucky and follow Link, Vaati on the other hand knocks out link and turns Zelda to stone with one shot, Replaces the king unnoticed,

Anyways, Ganondorf on the other hand finally rules his kingdom, and he could be less worried than a guy running around in tights gathering stuff when Ganondorf has the safety of being in an untouchable castle floating in the air (which is the most coolest I ever seen by the way), and expecting his minions to do the job while he can sit and practice playing the piano and relax for the rest of his life, he could personally be less worried about a guy running around in green tights.

However in Vaati's case, he is ok on the fact he is slightly greedy for power, but what is this idiot trying to accomplish, the guy could go to a village and start killing people if his objective is to go around killing people.

Least Ganondorf left the Villagers in peace in kakariko because he wanted the castle mainly, not to kill everyone, just kill everyone in his path and make sure nobody becomes as strong as he does and using all force nessicary to do so.

Vaati also makes Link think he is trying to kill him when in fact he is only toying with him and using him to find the light force, and instead of sitting playing a piano is actually doing something about the fact that he has Zelda prisoner (Honestly why did Gannondork not already have Zelda's Triforce piece when you get there)and succeeds in his plan if you take too long instead of just waiting for Link to mess it up.
