I love Ron Paul, I love John Stossel, and I especially love every one of you posters with + comments. You are all EPIC. We need to band together people, let's save America!
Absolutely. Most people don't understand this, but capitalism is the most free AND fair system known to man. Instead of being forced to give money to a looter, a pillager, a taxman, or, to put it bluntly, a government, you are given the choice of what you want to spend your money on. We create wealth constantly, instead of having a fixed system.
Ron Paul is trying to bring down America as we know it. He's trying to bring down the America of oversized government. The America of overspending. The government of less civil liberties. I wish he were elected president, so that we the people may take out our wire brushes and polish and remove the tarnish on this great nation. Without government intervention.
The best thing about Ron Paul is that he's not some slick, covert politician. He could have expanded on his answer regarding the subsidies for farms. If you read "Real Food" and "Death by Supermarket", you get a clear picture of how corporate farmers are in bed with the government (FDA) and how their 'factory foods' are poisoning us. It's good to be educated regarding what we eat and making sensible choices.
I truly think Mr. Paul has the right idea, keep federal government out of all the decision making processes and things would truly be better. We certainly have seen how well they're doing now. I know, unfortunately his ideas will never lead him to a presidential chance. What I do find ironic, is he goes by our historical constitution by what our federal government should be involved in and wants us to be governed by it and how people thinks his ideas are incredulous. I say simply listen. try it.
It's refreshing to see an interview where a question is asked and the answer can be given without rushing to get as much in before being interrupted by the interviewer when it becomes clear that the ambush didn't work and they aren't going to make THEIR point. Lately the media doesn't report the news, they manufacture it. Thank you John Stossel for asking good, probing questions and allowing Dr. Paul to answer them.

John Stossel seems to get it, and so does Glenn Beck of all people. Now if we can just get Faux on Board.
