People, global warming is not killing this planet. The statement that it is, is probably the dumbest thing I've heard since Bush was in office. Even in the event of a nuclear holocaust, this planet will take a century or two to recover but it won't die (short of being knocked out of orbit or something similar). Global warming will not kill this planet. Nuclear winter will not kill this planet. Nuclear war and the aftermath will not kill this planet. What these things WILL do is kill humanity.

Here is what I do: I recycle alluminum and plastic, reduce my use of oil based products, don't take a plastic bag in the store, ride my bicycle to work. I do alot for the enviroment. By the way, I think global warming is a HOAX. I do more for the planet than global warming believers. My co-worker thinks SUVs should be banned, but doesn't recycle a single can. walk the walk, don't just talk the talk.

Personal choices will help but the real changes will come from policy changes on the federal level through discouraging activities that pollute and encouraging those that don't pollute of that pollute much less.

Contact your local, state, and federal policy makers and demand meaningful changes to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
