ok, well i own a BMW M6 and i took about 10 seconds as well to operate the iDrive... its so sad how insignificant people of the west dont know how to appreciate a BMW
I couldn't agree with you any more. People that complain about iDrive are complete idiots. It is a very simple, yet handy system, that removes all that button clutter onto an easy to use screen.
Most people that complain about iDrive are people that don't like change, and want to stick to an over cluttered buttoney dash board.
Just speak the voice command 'Radio' after pressing the command button on the steering wheel and then follow the prompt to tune to your desired station

umm iDrive isn't bad at all..10 minutes to figure out how to work AM and FM is really very sad
i own a 5 series and it took me about 10 seconds to learn

Yeah idrive is great i have it im my 745LI but i find the new idrive is better to use its not as heavy

yeah its just the multiple menus and its kind of frustrating to use if your just trying to do something simple, like change the radio station
