  • Disliked beacuse of fake title.

  • hey guys i heard that lennon was a feminist can any of you guys help me out

  • @flakbac Yes, as proof of that he lived at home betwen 75 to 80 while Yoko was going work.

  • WONDERFUL SONG, JOHN IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the only then you done was yesterday now we see what you can do''''''''''''' JOHN IT WAS LOT THE BEST TWO SONG WRITERS THAT EVER LIVED AND THEY SHOULD WHAT EVER THEY DID LATER WAS JUST PASSING TIME WITH GREAT SONGS'

  • THIS SONG IS CALLED ONE DAY AT A TIME

  • THIS IS OLD HAT MUSIC (1960s) BUT LIKE ALL 60s MUSIC. YOU CAN HEAR THE WORDS AND IF YOU WISH SING ALONG WITH THEM--THEY MEAN SOMETHING TO SOMEONE. SOMEWHERE--UNLIKE THE GIBBERISH PLAYED TODAY

  • one day at the time or yesterday???

  • Великолепное видео! Благодарю Вас!

  • Paul and John are equal. The replacement for Paul is simply better at writing pop songs.

  • John only hated that he was not the writer of Yesterday. John and Paul made each other better.

The competition gave us some musical anthems to cherish.

Thanks to John for not embracing bullshit and sharing his personal story with all. Oh yes... and for writing the bible of how to make a great pop song along with his Beatlemates and producer George Martin.

  • The Beatles original starting line up is: John Lennon, the founder and leader, Paul McCartney the artistic leader, Geroge Harrison the underdog and Ringo Starr, the funny and pissed drummer.

  • 24 viados não gostaram, bem caracteristicos. VIVA OS THE BEATLES OS MAIORES MUSICOS DE TODOS OS TEMPOS>

  • Truth is, he hated yesterday because he didn't write it, ya think? But all you great fans are gonna go with the "he hated it because he thought it was to soupy and daft" ok, think what you will but how daft was most of the soupy arrangements and songs on Double fantasy? And yes John was a great song writer when with the Beatles and when he first left, and he did touch your soul, but come on....So did Paul. So please be real when doing these posts on the great Lennon and McCartney!

  • @rjmprod Yesterday? The difference between Lennon and McCartney is obvious! When you ask any guy who is not a Beatle fan he will tell you Yesterday is a song by the Beatles, while Lennon was more famous by himself apart of The Beatles. Everybody knows Imagine is a song by Lennon but not everybody knows Yesterday was written by Paul but by The Beatles. In my opinion John is the greatest solo songwriter, and Paul the best musician, Paul needed The Beatles, John needed to be alone.

  • @OneHundredPoints Me thinks me fell into a pool of John wanna Be's, but that's cool, there was a time where his genius ruled, but that was with the Beatles and George Martin. If all you nice John wanna Be's can face truth, George Martin was the genius behind both John and Paul. A day in the life would have been nothing more than words, just to mention one. I was working at EMI in London (Abbey Road) as a Balance engineer during the tracking of Sargent Pepper, I peeked in lots!

  • @rjmprod Me think s you're idiot, John wrote, Imagine without Gay Martin. And produced JEalous Guy which sounded way better than Child of Nature, face that.

  • @OneHundredPoints Well now, me thinks your an idiot because the songs you mentioned are of the same caliber that that John would call daft and soupy, when Paul wrote that kind of stuff! So I contend, "you are the idiot" my friend!

Best stuff was from Rubber soul to Magical Mystery Tour....IMHO.

    Peace

  • @rjmprod Couldn't disagree more with you. Good luck baby!

  • @OneHundredPoints And a happy, peppy good luck to you to baby!

All that glitters, might just be broken glass!

  • NOT A REAL SONG

  • I'm not afraid of me

  • Soft Power. Let it rule. True

  • your CPU being reformatted has to be quite traumatizing...

  • why isn't this just called "One Day at a Time"? Mind Games was a great, great album - probably John's only great album. I don't get the joke, I guess.

  • @realemetic1 What, what, what? Worst comment i've ever read! Mind Games the only great album by John? lololololol, what about Plastic/Ono Band, Imagine, Walls & Bridges or Double Fantasy? What? Dude, are you on drugs or something?

  • Yeah, Mind Games because I'm only listening to the music. It's very nice that someone can have psychotherapy on record and show their deeply disturbed personal insecurity, but it doesn't make the Plastic Ono Band album anything more than a collection of screaming, whining, bitching songs broken occasionally by one or two really good ones. Double Fantasy - he had "Real Love" on the burner, WTF!! Ironically Sometime In NYC is damn good too, despite his tedious and annoying social protest.

  • @realemetic1 I see you have 0 idea about John's music, because you're confusing Plastic Ono Band, which includes God (amazing song), Love (amazing song), working class hero (amazing song), Look at me (amazing, written for the White album)) ,Well, Well Well (written for the White album), Mother, all these songs are amazing and they all make the greatest John's solo best album by the critics, and you are just confusing it with his experimetnal albums, like Two virings. Study it again.

  • @realemetic1 And double Fantasy is his best album in my opinion, my favourite one, his last legacy, he included there Just Like Starting over (unbelievable song), Im losing you (amazing souly rocky song), Woman (amazing ballad), Watching the wheels, beautiful boy, i think you need to take a brake and to drink a coffee, or better, you should relax, think about it again and then tell me another different thing.

  • @realemetic1 You're a musical travesty.

  • It took a while for you to say something TRULY stupid, or just uninformed since you know nothing about me....the "musical travesty" is so mind-bogglingly idiotic I can't even comprehend it. You extoll the virtues of "God" which is good, but MUSICALLY without much merit; "Well Well Well" which MUSICALLY is without merit, and the same is even more painfully obvious about "Working Class Hero"...no, I haven't confused the two albums - where the hell does that come from? Calm down & eat something.

  • @realemetic1 @realemetic1 You're an asshole, you just listen to yourself saying all the stupidities you're saying, musically without merit, absolutely dumbfuck, mentally handicapped, retarded thug. Go and say to the world John Lennon's music was without merit, you STUPID, you stop making a fool of yourself, moron. Come on, suck the cock yourself. TRAVESTY. I guess the entire Wolrd would disagree with your STUPID OPINION, keep listening do Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, GAY

  • Except for a few post-Beatles cases, listening to John isn't about listening to the music. So review was "music" means in a dictionary, and also find out how to spell the word "break" - it'll be in there too.

  • @realemetic1 Listen to your own ass baby, i think you'll be happier than now. Go to dictionary and review what dickhead means, IMAGINE bay, that was without merit too, in your amazing CRAPPIEST ever opinion. Harry Callahan would say: "Opinions are like assholes. Everybody's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks". Be happy travesty.

  • @realemetic1 If you don't like John Lennon what are you doing here absolutely RETARDED.

  • it would of been funny if he wrote a song called yesterday ,

  • Bleh...

  • Damn at Least Give me a Rick Roll

  • luv paul, luv john!

  • Great video footage. It looks like John was trying to feel the life that he never had as a child through his son.

  • Imagine

  • @DustinMulligan I didn't mean to troll anybody but I'm glad you discovered this great songs, sometimes it's the right moment and the right place.

  • @ALEXradical13 Troll away, bitch ! Besides, how can saying something relevant be trolling? I'm glad for dude too. I always felt like I was the only one in the world who appreciated their humor! "What's off with you, HA!?!"

  • @scizotts I want you to make love not war.

  • @ALEXradical13 Wish the related threads within this thread were easily accessible. As for "[me making] love not war", send a pic/stats & we'll see whassup. Oh, it's not THAT KIND of site? OOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhh Well !

  • @scizotts U mad brah?

  • @ALEXradical13 about what? NAH. Just trying to right a perceived wrong if I can. Especially if you wanna make love & we're compatible !! HA!

  • like if u thought this was john lennon singing pauls version of yesterday XD

  • one day at a time john lennon

  • From mind Games not rare

  • I LOVE THE BEATLES!!!

  • @54321thebeatles who dont like them.

  • Paul was a great songwriter but John on the other hand is someone who can connect to your soul. One of a kind. LOVE this

    guy.

  • @ALEXradical13

    McCartney can connect too. :o

  • @ALEXradical13 John Lennon was by any measure one of the best artists to ever reside on this planet....I have tried to dislike a Lennon song on many occasions and it just isn't possible if you are truly a music fan...he touches deep with all he does

  • @ALEXradical13 does blackbird not connect to your soul?

  • on the contrary, according to Sir George Martin, when Lennon first heard "Yesterday", he commented, "Perfect!"... and he was right.

  • o casaco dele está até com a etiqueta!!! kkkkk

  • one day in the time....

  • John didn'y hate Yesterday

  • @Elton5000 He even said Yesterday was Macca at his best - nothing could equal that in his (Paul's) work.

  • Thanks for foolin' me........ gone into my favourites!

  • エクリプスいい名前

  • I love John. <3

  • i cant wait to see this man.

  • Do you know the first words of yesterday that came in paul's mind after a night ?

"Scrambled eggs, oh my babe oh i love your legs"...lol

He asked john if he has heard this tune , and john said no i haven't, then paul changed the words of course to yesterday all my troubles seem so far away...

  • @MrStephaneoceane did you read this out of a beatles book? my friend has a beatles book with that fact in it haha

  • @JohnLennonIsLove16 I heard on the radio, from paul's mouth, in the eighties...no matter where the information comes from anyway...don't you think ?

    have a nice evening

    Stéphane

  • when you say yesterday? do you mean pauls song?

  • Misleading title.

  • John didn't hate Yesterday

  • Lennon never hated "Yesterday". As a matter of fact, in his song "How do you sleep", he told Mc. Cartney: "The only thing you've done was yesterday"

  • @aramisillo

You are correct, although I think he meant that in a negative way. Lennon and McCartney weren't on the best of terms when he was writing "How do you Sleep".

  • In his Playboy interview made a few months before he was killed, John said about "Yesterday": "Beautiful. Well done. And I never wished I wrote it."

  • and now where's yesterday?

  • He did not hate Yesterday at all. He stated on many occasions how great the song was and he never once stated that he disliked it but he found it funny when they would play it when he appeared somewhere as if it was his. He would often say he understood why they did it as it would have been awkward to come out to I Am the Walrus.

  • this video should be called john lennon one day (at a time.)

unlike yesterday, it was written and sung by john lennon. appeared on his album mind games in 1973. fine album, fine song. i didn't take notice of it until this video, so thank you. great footage.

  • @OddlyRandomPro Thanks, I was very into those particular songs at the time,so mr lennon deserved a little effort,

  • @ALEXradical13 Love the Elton version

  • 0:50-:56 where´s that from???

  • @nanipotter The Ballad of John & Yoko Promoclip

  • @ALEXradical13 Thanks =)

  • @nanipotter you are welcome.

  • @nanipotter

    let it be film

  • @GaaaraMx WRONG...

  • yesterday my ass

  • I don't think he "hated" Yesterday. He just didn't appreciate it when he went places (like going out to eat_and they plaed the song, thinking that he HAD written it!..... He wrote "In My Life"... that's the song they should have played.

  • "Well, we all know about Yesterday. I have had so much accoladde for Yesterday. That's Paul's song and Paul's baby. Well done. Beautiful - and I never wished I'd written it" quote John Lennon, 1980 (All We Are Saying, David Sheff)

  • yesterday? excuse me? there's no Yesterday on here...

  • John hated it because it was all Paul's song EXCEPT FOR THE TITLE which John coined when he changed Paul's original title from "Scrambled Eggs" to "Yesterday".....i seriously doubt "Scrambled Eggs" would have been a hit.....personally I like the Beatles live at Blackpool version of "Yesteday" after which John says "thank you Ringo"

  • @mclearyb Paul said it was just a "working title" - before he even had lyrics.

  • one day at a time an you are here and juila

  • JOHN HATED YESTERDAY BY THE WAY nice i dont blame him
