When you ask any guy who is not a Beatle fan he will tell you Yesterday is a song by the Beatles, while Lennon was more famous by himself apart of The Beatles. Everybody knows Imagine is a song by Lennon but not everybody knows Yesterday was written by Paul but by The Beatles. John hated it because it was all Paul's song EXCEPT FOR THE TITLE which John coined when he changed Paul's original title from "Scrambled Eggs" to "Yesterday".....i seriously doubt "Scrambled Eggs" would have been a hit.....personally I like the Beatles live at Blackpool version of "Yesteday" after which John says "thank you Ringo"
