just download firefox and in the address link enter about:config and search proxy and disable all the proxys and turn the parent control to 0 and you might want to set the proxys to 0.0.0.0 if that helps

Yes, I would say all schools block proxy sites. That is why you need to stay up-to-date with the latest proxy sites every week. I suggest you subscribe to the free proxy group below. New proxies that are not blocked will be sent to your email box every week.

see but most schools blocking system runs on the network blocking anything that has to do with a proxy so its not like the school picks what to block, and it will block almost everything even for stupid reasons.

Yes, eventually the school blocks every proxy put out. At the school I sometimes work at a proxy will last less than a day until it gets blocked. Other times a proxy will last 2 weeks. Most of the time it lasts only 2-4 days.

That is why I suggest getting new proxies every week, even if you have a good one working now.

The way around it is to do a Google Search for, "ClearTechInfo Google Groups". You will find out group that is free to join. Proxies will be emailed to you about 1 time per week.

I have my own Google and Yahoo Email groups. They are both free to join. I send an email with new proxies about 1 time per week. Only join one of them since I send the same proxies to each group.

Everyday new proxy sites get added to the blocked list. Your best bet is to join a Google or Yahoo Group that emails you numerous NEW anonymizers. They will last only a few days, maybe a couple of weeks. But by the time they get blocked you will receive a new email with newer ones.

Go go, Groups(dot)Google(dot)com and search for the "ClearTechInfo" group. It is 100% free to join. You will get new sites every week.

its simple to hack heres something that you can do just go to the princaples room after school and place a Trojan in the computer and it will effect all files allowing you to gain access through all the folders or internet but you must surf invicible to the sites or you will get caught

These instructions will RESET your IP.

This fix will work for DSL and CABLE Internet service at home (it will not work for Internet at work).

- Disconnect your Cable or DSL modem from your computer and unplug the power and network cable from it.

- Reset your computer, then turn it off

- Leave the power and network cable disconnected from your DSL and Cable modem for a couple of hours (preferably do this right before you go to sleep at night so it could be disconnected for more than 2 hours)

Proxies are useful, but stand no chance against web blocking tools such as websense, the way that worked for me was downloading vidalia, which gives you a new ip allowing you to browse the internet without worrying about your favorite websites being blocked..

Yes it can bypass filters, but i promise you they can still see what you are doing, they can ghost your PC at any time they want to, and take control of it if they want to. Trust me i've worked for a school district's tech department, if you're viewing myspace or some crap, and they check your PC while you are, they can shut it down, or report you.

Not to get too specific but I am one of those people you talk about at my workplace. As a matter of fact I was testing out remote viewing software last month, haha. But I have not implemented it yet. When I do it will not be for the purposes you state. It will be for remote computer/tech help.

You forget to tell them though that at work or school the tech department uses remote desktop control, and can see everything you do, if you're using proxies.. also this can get you into a lot more trouble than it's worth.
