  • Boyarsky FTW!

  • This is more poetic than the new one ,but the new one is still better thou.

  • haha you Americans don't know the titel but i do!!! muhaHAHAHHAHA

  • ohhh!! 4:55 !!!!

  • Lol! 1:50...what a cute picture X)

  • el mejor black de todos los tiempos, mejor se hubieran muerto antes.

ya que absolutamente todo tiende a cambiar

  • shagraths vocals in his early days...kingpen status

  • @Issverr Early Darkthrone was death metal, and Behemoth was black metal.

  • 1:41 is indescribable, the exact sound when the callout comes out (sorry for the wordplay). When bass and drums is added to the previous sole guitar. That only second is what makes me love this entire song.

  • Somehow these two first Dimmu albums bring old RPG games to my mind :D I can clearly imagine to play Baldur's Gate and listen to this :)

  • @XanaX93 Same here. It's probably because much of black metal, power metal and symphonic metal has to do with mythical beings and such. I don't know, whatever the reason, it's badass stuff. I love old fasioned black metal.

  • this is what i call metall

  • Shargrath played drums on this? Haha, funny to see him moving from the very back of the band to the very front. HAIL DIMMU

  • awesome

  • such a great atmosphere. For all tid has always been my favourite Dimmu album

  • This is good, but the new dimmu is way better in my opinion :P

  • @Metalflamme : No way, man!

I think you should go to your otorhinolaryngologist ... your hearing is real damage ... :D

  • my friend tristan did a great job on bass on this album :)

  • eso si es bm

  • lo unico bueno q han grabado

  • this album* i mean

  • any chance of getting this again?:(( if yes send me a message or a mail ANYTHING!

  • Silenoz was a great singer on this album!

  • I did the Bieber comment for newgrounds, they were saying that they couldn't find videos without Bieber's name, and when they did I ruined it

  • Bieber sucks

  • @videogamesrrule that name is not worthy of being on this page...so stfu and go play video games

  • @videogamesrrule you suck for bringing up his name, go play video games

  • @TheInfiniteNine Ahahahahahah xD

Dude, that seriously made me laugh! xD

  • aren't all the lyrics in Norwiegian or somethin?

  • dimmu music in the 80s was much bettr fan 4evr nonetheless

  • @perez8269 ummm.......they formed in 93 O_o

  • Old Dimmu Borgir > New Dimmu Borgir

  • Dimmu borgir was such a great band back then, then record companies turned them into money hungry bastards...FOR SHAAAAAAME

  • @Slipnotes no they didn't. They have allways done what they have always wanted to. They changed because they didn't want to sound and be the same year after year. Not because they wanted to be famous and rich. I thought people have already realized that especially when they said so theirselves. Or the second option is that most black metal fans are extreme elitists who diss everything that is not low-productioned.

  • I like new Dimmu and Satyricon. It's good music, don't get me wrong.

Their old stuff is much better though, it has more feeling than their newer music.

  • better than todays dimmu

  • Sorry man..but listen an amazing song like this and listen cd like abra shit or other actualy dimmu's album is very sad...here there was poetry, sad and an amazing musical taste...in the recend cd there is nothing...

  • Truely Dimmu Borgir's masterpiece, I like Everything up to Spiritual Black Dimensions after that very mixed feelings, but this album has everything, It's raw, great atmosphere, melody, everything. Dimmu Borgir will never be this great again

  • @TheFuneralMist yeah im not to big on their new album or even majority of PEM tbh

  • The Sad era of Dimmu Borgir. Beautiful.

  • I never thought I'll actually enjoy a Dimmu Borgir song. They sound like a melancholic version of Satyricon during their Dark Medieval Times era in this album.

  • @rohitchaoji Couldn't have described this better than you did ^^

  • @DeeKhaVau I honestly think they ditched the old logo because in order to reach their successful status that they have now, people should be able to read the bands' name. Even though the old logo is way fucking better. This is by far the best album, IMO.

  • black metal medieval song, immolating your souls!

  • before SBD, dimmu borgir was just another sound-alike black metal band (this song is proof). the only reasons you hate them are because 1) they got famous and 2) they kicked out Vortex and Mustis...even though you hate the albums they're on because they're not "kvlt" enough for you. whatever!

  • wow, silenoz should remain as the lead vocalist,he is better than shagrath

  • @sorbitol666 oh come on this is blasphemy :D

  • Pure epicness, raw, cold beauty, true Melodic Black Metal

Hailz from Arabian Gulf (theres snow here too ;D) \m/

  • gOT THE cd WITH THE bw COVER...

  • Would any one have any idea what guitar silenoz was playing on this? i would appreciate it if someone could tell me please.

  • @666Desolate999 hm, if i knew, i'd tell you

  • @666Desolate999 Im pretty sure he uses esp guitars but im not sure...

  • @666Desolate999 silenoz is the one singing

  • @666Desolate999 A six string electric.

  • @666Desolate999 Silenoz was singing during the For All Tid period. Shagrath was drums.

  • Great atmospheric black metal, what the fuck happened to them?

  • This song, actually this album with Stormblast are masterpieces and make me cry everytime I listen to them.

  • i like Old Mans Child, that nigga from dimmu borgir is their lead singer

  • Im from russian, my favorit group Children Of Bodom, Dimmy Borgir. And i like russian group, Sektor Gaza, DDT, Krasnaya Plesen.

  • @Deniiel01 Do you know Russian cyber metal band Illidiance? very good band

  • @DeeKhaVau good question, very good question indeed.

  • @DeeKhaVau yea the old logo looks kinda like a knight's helmet if you look at it in a way

  • 3P1C

  • DiMMU BORGIR Y U NOW SUCK?

  • theyve turned to shit in 2002. if u dont see that u dont get black metal.

  • @Yggdrasil447 You can still like them though, you don't just have to listen to one genre.

  • @Hollenvaen dont worry i dont. i encourage fans to keep listening but only if you have a palette for shit.

  • @Yggdrasil447 Except it's still well written music. You just don't like it.

  • @Hollenvaen except its not well written. its generic formula over and over again with the same styled riffs. so i guess if u like the same bullshit over and over YES THIS IS FOR YOU.

  • good song

  • this is my 1st time listening to their old stuff , i love it ! .... but all great things eventually end .... the greater it is the faster it ends ..... truly a great era , when band used to write pure black metal and not poser shit which they sell to disturbed teenagers as black metal to get advantage of them and sell ...( not having a specific band in mind when writing this)

  • 887854...

  • back in the days where dimmu borgir was bm...

  • @Kackrabe what do you mean with bm?

  • @SICKGRINDCORE666 black metal

  • @TheMick779 oh yeah, well but i think that not even for all tid album is black metal, its similar but not really black metal

black metal is stuff like dark funeral, behemot and marduk

  • @SICKGRINDCORE666 behemoth is blackened death....

  • @SICKGRINDCORE666 actually black metal is a very loose genre, and dark funeral and marduk are actually a bit farther away from the original concept, which was the music being atmospheric and raw, like this album, early darkthrone, burzum and all that, but don't get me wrong, marduk is maybe my favorite band, and i listen to it and dark funeral really often, oh and behemoth isn't black metal at all, it's just bm-influenced

  • @Issverr yeah, back then when i wrote that i thought behemoth is black metal

now i know, theyre blackened death metal!

    and marduk is awesome!

  • @SICKGRINDCORE666

    Black Metal

  • what? whats wrong with his eyes i dont get it?>

  • before they bit the dust and became the biggest fucking tools in the black metal scene.

  • SHAGRATH IS A SEX GOD SEE THIS BAND LIVE BEFORE YOU JUDGE THEM. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT....SHAG HAS AN EXCELLENT VOICE AND IS A BRILLIANT FRONT MAN FOR THIS BAND....PITY THEY SACKED VORTEX THOUGH I LOVED HIS HIGH VOCALS.........SHAG WILL YOU MARRY ME....!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE.....

  • It would have been better if they recorded Stormblast in the same quality as For all tid. I think they Have a perfect sound on this record, and the 2005 Stormblast didn't have the atmosphere and I'm sure some of the keyboard parts were either cut out or simplified.

  • This is a VERY smooth song, not really heavy compared to their later releases. Yet, this feels way more like black metal.

  • This song show you that black metal(maybe it's sympho, but it's black)can be very beautifull.

  • ich mag es total wenn sich die musik so schwerfällig anhört und dann wieder voll auftrumpft.einfach klasse

  • Old Dimmu is good Dimmu.

  • QUE BUEN TEMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! EXCELENTE

  • @SatanicWerewolf666 meh, tired. they are ok

  • @Nmbr1kornfan

    Music/sound>message

Just sayin. I don't listen to crappy bands even if they have good message. (not saying Dimmu Borgir is crappy)

  • @CardboardEagle As GWAR once said, "It's not really a message, it's more of a massage!"

  • this and stormblast are their only good work after that, they became mainstream shit!

  • @hannesdermetalzwerg not quite buuday

  • @hannesdermetalzwerg

It's a shame. Record companies force them to be mainstream in return for more money and renown.

  • awesome. but i love every song from dimmu borgir.

  • @DeeKhaVau becouse they got more famous if you notice all black metal bands had cool logos before they got famous

  • i fucking LOVE this old dimmu borgir stuff. when Shagrath left them DB just isnt the same anymore Q.Q

  • @PriestJesus666 He's still in the band dude...

  • @DaemonAshmodean i know dude. but now when hes playing the fucking keyboards its the same as if he left db. his voice was giving "souls" to all the GOOD db songs

  • three more views

  • Listen to 'Freyja' by SONIQ ARMADA

  • good song, good album, mediocre band. the keyboards are a little much in this one though.

  • READ THIS !!!

thumbs up fo everyone that believes that this the best dimmu borgir album \m/

  • ye olde borgir,

    not bad at all.

  • Dimmu Borgir is my favorite band with Slayer. I love everything they do even Abrahadabrah lol.

  • @marcatkstrike i just havent gotten much from then new album. awesome vocals with limited meaning and feeling.

  • @marcatkstrike abrahadabra is fine but webve gotta admit that spiritual blck dimensions kicks ass!!!

  • @marcatkstrike i like the production on abrahadabra, the sound is almost perfect and so is the production... i have to say it's not really my cup of coffee, tho...

  • @marcatkstrike why whats wrong with abrahadabra

  • @marcatkstrike dimmu borgir are good, but abrahadabrah sucks!!!

  • i fucking hate dimmu's new album abrahadabra, it sounds like like crapy opera made by madonna and justin timberlake with fucked up voice -.-

  • @acidyx well you are one little judgemental little fucker arent you? do you people ever stop and think about the fact that maybe its not JUST about the fucking music??? there's a message with dimmu borgir too, people. fucking hell...

  • @nmbr1kornfan messages are cool and all, but music makes up about 99.99% of it.

  • @acidyx how would you know what the faggot sounds like you poseur piece of shit!!?!!?

  • @acidyx Maybe they just want to try new stuff, and make new music instead of making the same albums over and over again, hey said in interview, they don't wanna be like ac/dc making all albums sound the like same and they also said that they can't make music that everyones happy with.If they want to change their style and develope themself as musicians. What's the problem with that?

There is a reason they are Norways greatest band, and one of the greatest black metal bands in the world.

  • For All tid and Abrahadabra are the same explosion thing !!!

  • Tristan is Awesome on bass

  • @DeeKhaVau I know, cuz the one they have now is friggin simple and I do agree that their old logo was way better

  • I still love them but....back then... they were......fucking amazing!!!!!

  • @MissShagrath well said my lady!! Eternal Hails from hell paso TX!! WOOOHHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

  • @Helioanthrop hehe :)

  • @DeeKhaVau No one could read it....except for the real fans XD. That's what they said

  • @DeeKhaVau its not stupid shit and wats it to you anyway they can do wat they like HOLY SHIT its there band man!!

  • @DeeKhaVau its not stupid shit and wats it to you anyway they can do wat they like HOLYSHIT its there band man!!

  • R.I.P Dimmu Borgir.

  • back when their sound was unique

  • It's so good that I made a sheet of the intro.

  • i reckon every Norwegian black metal band logo looks the same, that's why they change so people actually know who they are

  • Picture at 2:30 was my personal favorite line up of Dimmu.

  • Just to clarify, this is Silenoz doing vocals on this album, right?

  • @unblackcellofreak777 yes, silenoz on guitars and vocals, and shagrath drums and vocals too.... awesome!!!

  • @DeeKhaVau i dunno..well they need to come up with a dif one for each album... but did you notice that this is the only one that has something to do with fukin Dimmu Borgir (dark castle)

  • @DeeKhaVau we live in an industrial stage my friend. they need to put a cover that will look ''cool'' and bring sales

  • I love their old style so much.

  • Good old Dingo Burger, oops, I mean Dimmu Borgir.

  • there's nothing better than good old dimmu

  • they sound alot better in their first two albums..

  • Dette er en av de tingene som gjør meg inderlig stolt over å være norsk.

  • I would say Dimmu Borgir would be the best band on earth if they would have stuck to this style, but thats my own opinion. One of my favorite albums for sure. Guess its going to have to stay that way.

  • I think old and new Dimmu has It's good sides. You really have to see them live to judge them. Their live shows are fucking AWESOME!! epic!! ...didn't shagrath play drums on for all tid? by the way the album title on the cover looks like it says for ass lid

  • @skota3030150 yes!! and yes it does now that I look at it ahhahaha

  • So beautiful

  • OLD DIMMU ITS THE BEST!

  • this is true black metal... why would they go like nowadays instead of being what they were in for all tid, stormblast and enthrone darkness triumphant? best albums imo.

  • @guilhermewoot666

For all tid is of course the best album, but I agree stormblåst and triumph were awesome

  • @guilhermewoot666 they seem to be after money and fame now.

  • @guilhermewoot666 Eh marketability of course. The reward for making this kind of music is a masterpiece of art but it doesnt sell to the masses. New Dimmu is easier to sell to the masses and is "more radio friendly". This kind of music is appreciated by the few who understand music most of the world as you may know is fag Beiber lovers with no brain. Dimmu wants more than a pat on the back by fans (ie. money).

  • @BF1 Hmmm yeah you gotta point.

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder what the people in the band (mainly Shaggrath) will think when they listen to this again.

  • this song is soooo good man, i love it

  • The great Dimmu Borgir never lets me down!!! \m/

  • I like the new and older Dimmu Borgir. They are still Dimmu Borgir and they are creators of both. Their older releases had a more of a raw feel to it.

  • @duvexy Abrahadabra is faggotry

Can't believe they wrote a track called "Dimmu Borgir" and it isn't even good, I was even more disappointed than I expected to be.

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift I only heard the Dimmu Borgir track only one so far.

I do agree this is not their best and I can safely say that it is better then Justin Beiber or Lady Gaga. I liked their older releases like Stormblast, For all Tid and Enthroned darkness. I do like the perfect stranger cover they did.

  • @duvexy I don't understand why you bring Jeiber and Laga into this, metal has nothing to do with them.

Face it; They sold out in every sense of the word. Instead of saying "Hey, people like our music, let's keep heading in this cool direction" they were like "Oh lets emulate our heroes, Cradle of Filth" or something dumb like that.

    They defs dun goof'd

  • @blackmetalrules999 Yeah, it's good to have some variety.

But it's bad that most of that "variety" they have is shit. Like Metallica, they changed for the worse and just suck.

  • i miss this dimmu borgir...not that gay snow pirate shit they have going on now. . .

  • I somehow understand you old Dimmu fans but is the genre so important? If the music is good, no matter if its black metal or not, isn't it the most important thing? Every black metal band should'nt sound the same. New Dimmu is as good as the old for me. I don't care of the genres.

  • @XanaX93

The problem is, new Dimmu isn't good. It's not the genre, but the lack of quality in their songs after they started to be symphonic.

  • @Pakanahymni that makes sense, yes. Here we go on opinions. But most of these guys are whining about the genre and I think that is ridiculous. But what you say makes sense. Some people like recent Dimmu, some like the old and some people like Dimmu in every way.

  • @XanaX93
