Because Conservatives Believe that Government must defend our country and protect our rights. Life, Liberty, and Property are things conservatives believe Government MUST protect. And Life is very important.

The position that liberty is less important than life is an interesting one to take given the larger ramifications if it were broadly applied. That said, however, not all conservatives oppose assisted suicide; only certain strains oppose it.

Yeah, they exploited a loophole and hit him with a "gotcha" conviction, and that's one instance where someone who consented to the treatment wasn't able to push the button, so Kevorkian did it.
Your use of the word "serial killer" implies that he did this over and over and over again, which he didn't. So it's more than IS a convicted "murderer," you'd like to see him tried on EVERY count, not just the one in which he administered the lethal dose himself.
