Well, they work with self-publishers, also. The only qualifications of being a publisher is owning your ISBNs to Lightning Source. That is an extra cost, but you can make up for it in the long run if you sell print copies.

Lightning source only work with publishers, that's why they require professional book block and cover design software. Other than that a helpful video thanks :)
