@DamageIncM Ah, well, sorry about that. I know it isn't common. I was trying to say that it's pretty easy to find them. I've had a lot more trouble finding a fretboard like that outside of Conklin guitars.
@DamageIncM I would imagine for coil taps and different parallel sounds and such. Personally, I find H/S/H guitars to be a bit much. Too many pickups makes it really cumbersome to play. Maybe they did it for shits and giggles like the Mr. Horsepower. I dunno. Ask Steve Morse. He seems to need 4.
All I can think of is, that with 3 HBs, the middle pickup would emphasize the sound of the "middle" setting of a 3-way-switch in a dual HB setup.
So that it's kind of an expansion on that setting and it's an actual pickup there instead of the bridge and neck pickups sort of "emulating" a middle-pickup or something.
But I could be completely wrong, that's just what I think of.
Hi, great sound! What pickup combination you used?

Woah, what's with the jacked up fretboard? I know those are true temper frets, but are those multiple fingerboard woods? or is it just half stained?

@CyValkarion
Forget that. :P
What's with the 4 pickups? XD

@DamageIncM That's no big deal. Look at Steve Morse's guitar. The EBMM Mr. Horsepower. The ugly as hell DiPinto galaxie 4.

It's not big deal? It's not very common to have 3, 4 or more humbuckers in a guitar.
I'm not saying this is the only one...

Ah yeah.
I always wondered why you'd want 3 or more pickups though.
I mean, I know they get you different sounds, but I'm not sure what it would sound like exactly.
I never had the chance to play with such a setup.
And 4... well, I mean, how much difference would there be between the middle 2 for example, so close together.
Unless you use completely different pickups there of course...
