This is such a perfect commercial. Done perfectly, right down to the main balding star with a handle bar mustache. I can imagine it would have raised eyebrows at the board room when it was first pitched.

This was filmed partially in Mendocino...the beautiful north coast of CA. I was in the original shooting of the commercial...sadly it was cut out! BUT this is awesome...so well done...truly classy Honda commercial! I can't believe someone would make negative comments....the crew & actor work hard....so much is put into these clips. The idea of an F1 car running down pushing through a final corner into a straight to capture a flag is iconic. F1 is really a halo car, no more. This may change in 2013 when the ban is lifted engine changes. But currently, all the big advancements are in aero; and those are all so specialized they have no impact on consumer cars.
