Although my message in the video was not meant to be insulting, it was meant to be inspiring, therefore, instead of having a liberation against me, have it against the job market, and improve your prospects by doing volunteer work to help your eventual career. I volunteer aswel as doing 6am-6pm 4 days a week for Uni.

I calculated that, in order to make more money than I am getting now (in benefits), I would need to work 42 hours per week in a minimum wage job. Well, I don't need the extra money, so I just live off my benefits. I spend all my time during the day playing video games, getting drunk and doing drugs.

Although, the problems that you describe aren't to the same extent where I come from it certainly does exist. What irritates me most is the mentality of these people. Despite the fact that Employment figures aren't the most brilliant that they've ever been, people don't really have a great excuse for not having a job, especially if your 18 and not in education. I'm 17 and never had a job in my life but because of where I live and what I hope to do I need money to buy a car, lessons and relevant equipment, employment may be scarce but that shouldn't stop me or any of you from at least trying.
Even though I'll be serving a broken system, bring on January!
The same issue applies here in the states. While there are definately people who are using, but don't need government benefits, you should remember that there are lot's and lot's of people who really do need these things. Excluding you, I think a lot of people fall into the trap of only talking about the benefits, or only talking about the issues with these entitlements.

@fromangel37 I totally agree. I was once rejected for a job, so i emailed the headquarters, and told them i wasn't pleased with the decision. Then they offered me the job and i took it.
You have to go the extra mile, and show initiative. So many people, not many jobs.

@FunnyPranks When i were searching for job i were going to jobsearch every second day, here we got like 4 and i kept going and going and calling! So if the person is really willing to work he will get the work sooner or later. Not like some jerk sitting home and laughing about people who work hard in factories many hours and getting quite less money comparing with some ass who is getting money house and all bills paid for wining and doing nothing just sitting at home. i am sorry about my grammar

Despite the fact that Employment figures aren't the most brilliant that they've ever been, people don't really have a great excuse for not having a job, especially if your 18 and not in education. I'm 17 and never had a job in my life but because of where I live and what I hope to do I need money to buy a car, lessons and relevant equipment, employment may be scarce but that shouldn't stop me or any of you from at least trying.
Even though I'll be serving a broken system, bring on January!

The same issue applies here in the states. While there are definately people who are using, but don't need government benefits, you should remember that there are lot's and lot's of people who really do need these things. Excluding you, I think a lot of people fall into the trap of only talking about the benefits, or only talking about the issues with these entitlements.
