This doesnt concern Mr average, and so Bobby is bad for business. @chess240 Not disintegration. He just never moved on with the next stage of his life. Living for ever in your prime would eventually drive you mad. Kissing girls in shop doorways at 03:00am holds no excitement for me as it did at 21. At 42 I enjoy family meals with my family. When I am 82, I hopefully shall enjoy watching grandchildren, just as at age 5 I enjoyed my lego set. disintegration is not the worst thing.

I am rather sceptical of your characterisation. He strikes me as a wonderfully free person. He says nothing for effect. He does not have to appear superior. Nothing he says is cryptic. He is more open than in his interviews as a young man. He did advance as a person. This is only based on what I see on Youtube.

If i know better, IF you try to expose someone or something like Chess and the ones behind it, you better be careful. He mention this in 92, and said he right a book about it, then all of a sudden mysteriously his belonging where stolen. Fischer said they stole that file, I believe Fischer mistake was saying he had this. He should of just made the book, then they could not hide it.Like Fischer and anyone with a brain, How can you see the big picture if you are to stubborn to see it.

preparation and prearrangement, are to different things. also where is the 4th video, i thinks this is bullshit, there are missing videos and radio broadcast of Fischer, the last part of this video shows there is more, Fischer claimed he cracked ho the Russians, did the 84-85 champion ship match, and the jews stole his file on it, I believe Fischer, they started fucking with him, So many crimes against Fischer, he said in some radio broad cast about this.

Bobby is pretty hypocritical ... criticizing chess preparation when he was one of the most adventurous seekers and researchers of the game. He learned to read Russian so he could out-prepare all his American pursuers. That's why no one will ever equal his interzonal successes ... he beat Taimanov and Larsen 6-0 because he had preparation up the wazoo!

chess is a finite matrix;eventually the opening book will make contact with the end game tablebases and the middle game will become a well charted map.

chess is theoretically a draw and with an expanding history of games its harder to win against super accurate dynamic equalibrium which is the fault of us searching the depths and uncovering the games own metaparameters..

You can only win if your opponent makes a mistake but you cannot force a win against perfect defence.

While Fischer was clearly unbalanced and saw jews as being involved in everything (after all, the guy's mind worked via all reality like a grandmaster...seeing connections everywhere...) that the U.S. state department hunted him down for plying his trade in Yugoslavia...one has to think of other examples...Paul Simon recorded his album Graceland in South Africa when there was a ban on going there about visiting and working artistically or otherwise during apartheid...noone went after him.

Bobby was right about theory ruining chess. Just look at the pitiful short knock-out matches taking place in Kazan right now. Draws after only a few moves are commonplace. No wonder chess can't find a decent sponsor. To be a professional chess player today has to be sheer drudgery. Memorization, computers, endless theory - chess at the highest levels is not interesting anymore. Truth in chess is now being carried out between multi-core chess computers, not humans.
