As an African I'm proud of the fact that we have great beautiful cities with great night life and all but as a tourist why would i leave Santa Monica and travel 25,000km to experience Malibu in Durban? What does SA have that nobody else in the world has, show me I will come see it and enjoy the experience...

@Urgentag86 When was the last time you were on a beach in Durban? My husband is from there and I've been 7 times since 2003 and there are TONS of Palm Trees. You can see them in the photo gallery of the Africa Guide website even! It just depends on what side of the beach and which beach you are on but the middle part near the craftmarket, to the kiddie rides areas are all full of palms.
