  • u guys still run?

  • @CGiordano464 Yes, still running and stil growing. However, this is a backyard hobby railroad and so things happen when they happen. If you are thinking about coming this way to see it you should first contact the folks at Uhrich Locomotive in Strasburg, CO. Number's in the phone book.

  • Hi, I am thinking of setting up a BIG South African Miniature Railway in South Africa - 12.25" being biggest.I love your video clips very much. I collect video footage from around the world especially 12.25 & 15" locos, do you have any more footage of these and similar you could put on a DVD/Tape for me and if you would you be interested in exchanging a good hour of so of steam footage with me? I have mainly South African Steam and some British Stuff;-)

    Kind Regards

    Bryn Morgan

  • what stores or companies do you and some of your friends get their long cuffed gloves from.

  • I work on a two foot gauge railroad. What a lot of fun it is too. If you would like to see videos of it, just let me know.

  • you guys to really hand bomb those engines with coal. no shovels.

  • p.s. looks like 15 inch gauge?

  • Yes it is 15" gauge. One of the locomotives in this particular video belongs to Tiny Town which is pretty well known among American railfans but may not be so well know in England. The #463 belongs to the town of Strasburg,CO, and the #1 is privately owned. At my channel you will find more postings featuring the #1 and #463. One of these days I will post some Tiny Town stuff. Hope this helps.

  • 1. Whereabouts is this railway?

    2. There are a couple of Cagneysover here in England - one is running near me at the weekend.

    3. Nice to see the locos - thanks!

  • I hope you'll enjoyed the day as much as I enjoyed your video!

  • I think the best thing about my video is that it introduced me to your channel. Isn't Youtube great!?

  • Yes, I've seen so much American Steam on it that I would never have seen otherwise. One thing I would like to do is visit Colorado, I am seeing lots of good videos and photos from there.

  • Funny,I've had exactly the same thoughts about coming your way. I can't believe how much mainline steam you are running over there. How do you keep track of it? Is there a web site that posts all of these events?
