@phillipwhite04 IMO Capacitors dont help unless its for 8ohm or even just 8 inch subs and less, or just not at all, A new 210 amp will fix all that for any set up with 5000 watts.

bro...you dont understand the concepts of fucking electricity. the cap makes your electrical system work harder, stressing it more. a cap was made ONLY for cleaning up the peaks of the power input going to the amp, thats it. 1 farad outputs 60w a second. a cap is complete shit and a marketing scam. an alternator, a big battery, and the big 3 is the only way to go.

Stock alternator, red top battery. as you see the lights still dim. the pyles sounded funny when i switched cars (worked amazing when they did) i would recommend a 1krms-1.5krms amp or so to push this, 2200 was overkill

$230 or so on ebay, if you buy, go from VMinnovations. highly recommend the amp. it overpowers my 2 1krms pioneers (can smell after awhile lol)

i got 2 power acoustik amps..really good for the price but are a little over-rated with the rms but Definatley worth the money. Your subs probably get hot from being run at 1 ohm, nothing wrong with it just the pioneers only come in dual 4 or 2 ohm woofers and heat up pretty good when run lower as any subwoofer would. Great setup though, how did/do the pyles compare to the pioneers?

Pyles were loud in the intrepid, idk what happened but they sounded like poop when i put them in the smaller trunk of the cirrus, great for the price though. the pyles were good until i switched cars or something happened idk. definitally the pioneers are louder with the same power.
