  • the ice strom was terrible!!!!

  • ice storms are worse than snowstorms anyday. Even tanks have trouble on ice.

  • Here it is Thanksgiving day 2010, and again we are having an ice storm. Thankfuly no large tree limbs have fell yet.

  • I live in nelson county ky and we got worse than that.out bark on trees were completley frozen over.ll but some weird lookin stuff.

  • hey he's in my town lol

  • Arkansas gets ice storms really bad as well. At least as bad as Oklahoma does. The last big ice storm in NWA left my neighborhood without power for at least two weeks.

  • i remember this storm my house was out of electricity for almost 3 weeks

  • Oklahoma gets some of the severest ice storms, and its winter storms can be accompanied by hurricane-force winds! We have snow-days in northern Illinois, but Oklahoma has ice weeks! I wonder if it rivals the December 2006 ice storm.

  • stormtracker05-I'm positive there have been much worse ice storms. We measured just under 3" on our tree out front, I wish I took a picture of that, but then, most of the tree fell. The bad thing that came with the ice was here is Altus alone there were over 300 power poles down, and all over Ok it was this way....everyone said that was my Okl...lol. The good thing was after a few days the weather lightened up quite a bit and the ice was gone, so the city could get the power poles up faster.

  • i just got my power back on seven days later in cache, ok.

  • And its suppose to be worse next monday/Tuesday :(

  • We were out of power for three days and I was freezing in my apartment. I kept worring that if the power didn't come back on, then it would seriously affect my unborn child.

  • we just got our power back this storm was crazy the first day i just set and watched tree after tree just come falling down from the weight of the ice

  • We had a storm like this where i live in arkansas in late 2000 and early 2001.

  • wow, awesome... well here in the Italian Alps it's cold and full of snow too.

  • Excellente, greate capture on video ! It seems incredible that ice storm. Some time ago, I have seen something like that, but not of such intensity.

More congratulations for who filmed it, very good job !

  • man i wish, up here in canada, thats nothing, schools are rarely closed for worse. and calling is sick at work for that is not a good nuff reason haha

  • Schools were closed because of no electricity. Here in Altus we have had no power for 6 days now, and they say we won't get power for 2 more weeks. I'm from Northern Michigan and I have NEVER seen anything like this storm.

  • lmao all the trees are like weeping willows

  • Crazy thick ice!

  • same here in nashville TN, schools closed

  • seeing the trees like that absolutely breaks my heart

  • @genmac1 same here

  • Grazie cara Tami, purtroppo e' interessante il filmato...non fosse per i danni arrecati!!!! pier

  • Raleigh, NC schools are closed tomorrow also! wow....

  • Excellent video--nice measurement of the ice on the tree!!

  • Haven't seen anything is bad in awhile, last bad ice storm I was involved in was January 2003 in Northern Indiana, out of power and school for 10 days.

  • good video
