defender 90s are in my humble oponion the perfect off road vehicle they are light strong and powerfull

i drive a 200 Tdi 90 and she takes a regular kicking and keeps on going

whats the difference between the tdi 200 and the tdi 300?

There's little to choose from, some people say the 200 is better than the 300 and some say the 300 is better than the 200. In my opinion there's not much to choose between them. I had a 300 which went a little better than the 200 but it was always having problems with the timing belt and pulleys and it had to have a new head at one time also. The 200s do seem to be more reliable.

@cubleycat The main difference is age, the 300 tdi was the newer version of the 200 tdi. many people go for the 200tdi's because they are the main engines used in engine transplants.

lol, i get stuck every time i go off road. got 33" tyres and arb locking diffs. can get over/through more stuff but like you say, you get goaded into trying more and more. have a butchers at some of my vids. there's one of me getting winched out. again.

No worries there aren't many dudette off roaders , its so funny sometimes when people see it's a woman driving, and it helps to be insane LOL. Funny you should say that I am thinking of getting some 35" tyres for better clearance, my sister goaded me into going through a boggy bit and I got stuck but so did every one else! I would say go for it they look good tyres and it would be better in the mud.
