When I was in my first year of college, in 1975, my roommate had his album with this song on it...and it was the first time I'd heard it, by him or anyone else. I fell in love with the song and she would play it every morning to wake me up and get me moving. I am so happy to find this version here...the best there is!! Thank you for posting this!

Love this song. To me it tells the real meaning for celebrating Christmas. Jesus is the real reason for the season. Jose Feliciano's version really drives this home for me.

At last..!!! I found it. It's been a very long time searching the net to find this song version of jose feliciano...its quite unique style of music that he performed into a folk ballad and it touches me....

@christinaemerald I would like to share my feelings with this song...as i heard the voice of jose feliciano with his prowess plucking sounds of guitars, it carries my feelings with emotions. this is because the song is just like a serenade to newly baby boy Jesus Christ who will be the redeemer of this sinful world.
