    That's the address to any router. All network professionsals memorize that address to connect to Linksys Routers.

    You can google 192.168.1.101 if you don't believe me lol :)

  • @Justin100000186 I heard the new port is 7777, but you may have to verify that. That's the port forwarding number.

    As for the number for your own computer, you have to do ipconfig command i show in the videos.

  • im confused. i host a server on the first window as one of my characters. then on the second window i join the server with my ip address, accept the default port forward (which is 7777 for me) and type in password and i have 2 characters on the same server, on the same computer. am i doing it right?

  • i cant get even local, got my IP from some site you can easily google, but when i try to connect to myself, it says some blah..... :L

    and using run, cmd, ipconfig doest work for me, it says some stuff like IPv6: 10e:314e:e13rf

    and my IP should not have letters in it, right?

  • @abcdeffedcba Yea, for your local I.P address you can't check websites. That's only for the I.P address your friends are connecting to.

    In your case try doing the run CMD thing again, and look for an IPV4 address. If you still can't find it, look for any I.P address that does not have letters in it.

    Like you said, there should be NO letters at all; you're completely correct.

  • @TheeImmortalPhoenix when i enter in the ip address for me to connect to the server it asks for a "server port" and its already entered in as 7777 but when i click accept it just says connecting to server for a long time and i still dont get in please help me
