okay after fucking around with it got everything to work properly as i said before great tool but make it more user friendly for people who dont know a thing about scripting
im damn good at scripting and even i cant tackle this or understand how this continues to spawn me as blufor when ive made tons of changes to be opfor aka russians this thing is starting to piss me off amazing tool but shitty and i mean shitty user friendly tool
No offence meant but these "tutorial" videos are almost completely useless to a beginner. A typical problem for people with a lot of scripting/programming knowledge. Unfortunately only a hand full seem to make good programmers AND teachers. :(
A true Step-by-step guide is needed with CLEAR explanations of what can and can not be done to get a SIMPLE scenario (like the demo) to work.
GAAAAAAAH I'm pulling my hair out trying to get this to work even once. I have the example and have watched this video a dozen times but no matter what it shows up as East Base: none West Base: none
@NeutralExistence there is no such thing in WICT as stupid reason ---- everything has a reason --- bases are picked from the list according to spawn distance and scan distance. So if you are too close to the base -- yes -- nothing will spawn and you will get the message none.
If all of you guys had watched video part 4, you would have understood how WICT works. The reason is in that way it can simulate reinforcements from other base. There are several sandbox missions working flawlessly.
Whenever I put them to far away they don't spawn, not to close. I have to place them exactly like in the video, otherwise they do not spawn at all. I am not saying the program is bad, its a great program, its just rather annoying trying to set up it up.
I was lost after 20 seconds. I'll stick to pre made sp missions lol

This does not help me much I'm new to this and would like a better tutorial to explain to me step by step how to get this to make a simple mission.

This is such an awesome concept for a mod, but dude, could you have made this video tutorial any clearer? I have no idea what I'm doing with this.

@masonkiller666
They need to be really close of some stupid reason, at least that is what I have found.
If you space them exactly like in the video it works well.

@ArmAIIholic also there are no more mixedBase types -- that is just an example -- open startSettings to see available base types or to make new one.
