We don't need ebonics and all that jiving shit in MLB. Its one of the most, if not, the most diverse sport already. We don't need guys dancing on the way around third before they score like they do in the NFL. I love the NFL, i just wish players would play the game and keep the dancing/taunting/strutting/trash talking shit out of it. Getting your team a 15 yard penalty for some stupid endzone celebration is ridiculous.
You don't understand that the sports industry is an entertainment industry. Nyjer Morgan brings a certain energy to the game, it gets the crowd going and the teammates amped up. And just cuz he's black he's a thug? U don't know shit man, baseball is lacking, its supposed to be Americas pastime, but right now it's not doing as great as it should. Whatever puts fans in seats and wins ballgames is important
@mothahen123 I don't think you understand. Attendance is down, ratings are down, it's popularity is declining and the NFL is leaving it in the dust and the NBA has the potential to pass it as well. Reason is because MLB players lack charisma. When it comes to personality, they are BORING and they are not exciting.
@StylistecS i don't know where you're getting your info. how can you possibly argue that the nba is in better shape than the mlb?? there won't even be and nba season next year. the world series ratings only went down because neither the rangers nor the giants draw from cities like new york or los angeles. attendance is down in some stadiums, but in others it's flourishing. and i simply don't believe thugs like him make the game more interesting. it needs more standup players like buster posey
