i have done this but the only prob is that with a normal 140 round pod the mouth to it is the same size so you have to tip it straight up and push into it

instead of taping it to the hopper, take a couple pieces of duct tape or elecrical tape and make the ring thicker on the inside by sticking the tape on the inside of the bottom untill it fits snuggly on your hopper

The best speed feed mod that i have seen so far is nothing more than a rubber garbage disposal splash guard, you know the type that you'll find in the kitchen sink of an expensive house.

you can get them for less than $10 or $5 at most hardware stores.

Ok so a lid is cheaper but no one will take you seriously in the field, not even the noobs

anyways its worth a try i know i'm gonna try it.

Yup its ghetto alright! But hey i got one too. I have a Halo TSA frontman. I busted the lid I know peeps use Pringles but I use a CONTADINA brand Italian Style bread crumbs lid. It fits like a glove No TAPE nothing like that just cut it and pop it on.

it seems that the only way it works is that the cup is able to slip through into the hopper and push the pins totally in which isn't realistic because usually paintballs don't apply enough force to push the fins down
