dude! I want that game so much... I get obsessed with it! I'm not done with the first game. But the feeling that the sequel won't ever come to Europe is... unfair... THE HORROR!
I´m dead serious. I want that game so much. But i´m afraid of the riskfull Homebrew Channel. I don´t know how it works... If it can damage my Graphics and Controls on the system...
I don´t want to buy a damn wii of the US. I don´t want to force myself to download the Homebrew Channel!
good vid and stuff but you kinda sound like your on crack lol speaking super fast but hey good vid all together, ive yet to own the wii but i have played one and i must say people who insult it have probably never played one
I could slow down but this vid would be too long then, haha, I've made very long vids in the past I'm trying to reduce the time of my vids, so i'm forced to talk faster :p
not just that, I think forcing Blu-Ray into it which jacks the price of the console up hurt them too.. ironically though the high price may have hindered the PS3, yet those units that did sell put enough Blu-Ray players into homes for them to beat out HD-DVD, which is a shame, i was hoping for another Beatmax disaster for Sony :p
Well there are good games on it already, just there's a bit more shovelware cuz devs and publishers find jumping on the "casual" gaming bandwagon means making in a game quickly and cheaply and they make a profit once 10 units are sold :p
2009 is looking on the up though, should be a lot of interesting stuff to play in the next few months
I'm sure there'll be a new Zelda game for it (have you played Twilight Princess?) but I don't expect it this year, maybe next, I do hope to see a trailer or something by E3 or just after.
What games have you got for it? Depending on what you like, I recommend, Metriod Prime 3, No More Heroes, Mario Galaxy and Zack & Wiki is a great little puzzle game. Disaster Day of Crisis is also pretty (you should be able to get that on cheap somewhere) Mario Kart and Smash Bros are also awesome
for RPG's If you've not played Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube remember the Wii can play GC games too... though you will need to find a GC controller (look for a Wavebird) and Symphonia you might have to find on ebay (then if you like that get the sequel if it ever comes out here...or do what i did) Skies of Arcadia and Baten Kaitos are also good RPG's from the GC, both could be seeing Wii sequels (but maybe not this year)
There's a number of RPGs in the works for the Wii the question is however will they make it to Europe, one that seems likely to at least make it to the US is Arc Rise Fantasia which is looking good
NMH is a pretty good game. Does get a lil repetetive, but I supported it eventually. Didn't even know Day of Crisis came out until I saw it last week in Blockbuster to rent. I was looking forward to it tooo..I'm not too sure if I want it right now though. MKWii is another good game, but a frustrating one at the same time. MadWorld and The Conduit are definately games I'm getting, and hopefully house of the Dead
Exactly, and that was a port and sold well, then RE:UC a shortened retelling up to RE3 and bit beyond also sold more than Capcom expected, RE4 Wii had a perfect control scheme because of the Wiimote and yet the Wii does not get a version of RE5, that does not make any sense, business or otherwise
yeah and just think that vid was a demo built in around 6 works of work... imagine if they could finish the game... it would be a crime if a publisher doesn't pick it up
I don't know how t got to this point, i mean fair play to Nintendo for "expanding the market" to new people, but did that lead to publishers thinking that's the only market the Wii has?
Monster hunter does not and 100% will not have a story to it. You receive quests, kill monsters, make weapons and armor, and kill more monsters. Don't get your hopes up about a story because you won't find one in this game. There is no level up system so you get better through your own experience.
Just thought i'd give you a heads up. I'm a HUGE Monster hunter fan, i'd hate to see someone dissapointed in the game because they thought it was something else.
I really hate japan only games or how nintendo takes for ever to release everything to other countries. I don't have it as bad since the U.S. is usually second but it's still pretty gay.
Is it really that hard to release a game in another country though? people translate emulators and I'm pretty sure they don't end up losing money doing that.
i think it is quite hard to release games in other regions, i know with the ps3 anyway, scea (sony computer entertainment america and scej (sony computer entertainment japan), and scee (sony computer entertainment ) all have to accept the games seperatly (and europe usally takes longest) but i think its differant for playstation network games i think just one place in japan accepts them or something.
well none of these games are Nintendo games, so technically not their fault (for once, haha). Usually J-RPG's (Japanese-RPGs) are seen to not have as big a market outside Japan, sometimes thats right, sometimes its not, publishers feel they could be talking a risk if it didn't sell well as translating games takes time and money, more so in Europe cuz games need to be translated into a number of languages, I just hope with Fragile and MH3 they do bring them out in the US and Europe
I HAVE A WII FOR SALE ON MY CHANNEL !!!!!!! PLZ GO WATCH!!!

No, 'worst graphics ever' would be the Atari 2600 port of pac-man. Pac-man wasn't even a circle!

Checked that trailer you mentioned, looks a lot like the game Eternal Sonata on the 360, which is a beautiful game.
I'm an RPG nut, I collect as many as I can so I would hope this one is released too.

That's because Sony really screwed up what with removing backwards compatibility and all that.

The Blu-ray point is a strange one, the added cost screwed them over and yet shoved HD DVD out of the market.
They kind of lost and won at the same time, but the loss was bigger than the win.
bobomcgraw 3 years ago
I was talking to my cousins about the Wii a few days back.
Apparently the console has very high sales but the games don't.
I guess they just need to make some good games for it, not the half assed crap they're been rushing out.

We have a Wii for the family, I would pick up my own though cause their are a few quality games for it I would just like a larger catalogue.
Gimme a new and bigger Zelda game.

I wish, if they had reservations about European markets then they would just stop with the regional codes.
bobomcgraw 3 years ago
If that's the one with Lloyd and Genus and them then it is up in my room.
I mentioned that a while back, that I had played it but never finished it.
Got as far as the ninja girl having some battle in her home town, but I could never beat the guy cause I wasn't used to controlling her.
I bough Skies of Arcadia off eBay a few days back, waiting for it to arrive now.

What is a european thing. Is it like 10 different versions with different languages for all of europe or some other thing.

we not different versions totally, games in Europe will have a number of language options, but they are still the same game

whats wrong with horror games on wii? its not fair that publishers basically wreck the wii by filling it with casual games. we need more variety.
