It's interesting to see this after watching her performing the same aria recorded years later (with Rousset). I think she kept improving even though this is already a spectacular rendition of this fiendishly difficult and sensational piece. Here I think she took a few breaths in some of the arduous passages while I don't remember her doing it in the Rousset DVD.

The best interpretation of this aria I've ever heard! The purity and clarity of her vocal emission is impressive and the accuracy of her agility is simply remarkable. IMO she's one of the best coloratura sopranos ever, at least if she always sings with such a perfect performance level!
