  • U could just held them up and said these ummm... They suck lol

  • Thanks man helped alot

  • great review thanks!

  • Good job and good comments. I can't see any use for these things at all. I would also just go barefoot wherever they would be possible to use. For rougher terrain, I need a little more protection than they offer - water shoes or whatnot. I think Inov-8 will be jumping ship on the evoskins, writing the experiment off as a loss. Though it seems it would be easy to fuse a slightly more robust outersole to them and maybe some kind lining on the inside... lol@dishwasher safe! you sure about that?

  • @effzee Yes, in order for me to want to use them, the design will need to be modified. My theory is however that if they did, they would probably end up looking more like a Vibram FiveFinger which would most likely get them sued. Vibram is going ofter Fila Skeletoes, so I have no reason to think that they wouldn't go after Inov-8 as well.

Yes, really, dishwasher safe. It says so right in the catalog.

  • looks like they'd be really unsafe for wet and watersport environments.... did you test the grip in those areas? (wet rocks, boats, wet kitchen floor, bathroom) ?

  • @shaynapulley I didn't test them in those conditions, but it is quite possible they would be slippery on a wet/slick surface.

  • Wow... Looks like they screwed up a bit there, or have launched the product and expect feedback towards an improved shoe.

My thought would be they could improve those with a few hundred small ventilation holes on the upper facing parts, and do a couple more increments in sizing.

The sole really appeals to me, so perhaps if the combined with a merino or other natural upper material they'd be hitting the mark also.

    Neat review.

  • @tobesters Yeah, some sort of breathable upper would be a huge improvement. I don't know how you would attach that to silicone though. A thin fabric lining would also help too, although might make them more difficult to put on.

  • Grip for running on brick and concrete?

  • @warman0712 The grip for brick/concrete would be fine, those surfaces are rough.
