  • this made me cry

  • If you think about it, mankind is probably the worst thing that ever happened to this planet.

  • and we daily complain about stupid things that goes on our lifes and we don't forgive those who hurt us, while this people went through unimaginable horrible moments and still forgive.

  • shes so strong. i can't imagine how bad it was for her. God bless

  • 4 people have no heart

  • I think whether your religious or not the message is still the same. She built up hate and prayer helped her to forgive and therefore heal her hatred. If you don't need religion to do that, fantastic, if you do, then go to religion. Remember; most religious teachings are very good, its just that some people corrupt them teachings for evil purposes. I'm not religious, but the teachings of love and forgiveness are very important.

  • American made the war worst, like always. They also never win too ahemmm afghan and Vietnam. Just let these country deal with their problems and save your damn money. Mind your own business. How the hell did Vietnam have to do with U.S before the war? Nosy Americans.

  • @TINBITZPHAM Nosy american government. It's not the actual people. It's greed by those assholes who run this country. :(

  • @terran236 that what i meant, i dont mean the people

  • @TINBITZPHAM Then I wholeheartedly agree. I hate how the USA has been a little bit like Britain was in the past. As in trying to control the whole world. The Americas, Ireland, India, Hong Kong, Australia, Argentina, New Zeland. People are just not happy with what they have. Should leave other cultures alone.

  • @TINBITZPHAM I think its a lot more convoluted than the way you see it, and... well as someone said to me, 'if the actions of someone don't make sense, try seeing it from their point of view' -which isn't to say America is right or wrong, but that their intentions were good, regardless of the outcome. (and no, I'm not an American sticking up for myself). Also/seperately, Americans DO win wars, without their aid, WW1 and WW2 wouldn't possibly have finished so quickly! Give them some slack, hey?

  • @TINBITZPHAM sometimes i think my country is wasting their time on random things.

  • Wow. She's so strong.

  • @GvGamers thats what I was thinking

  • what ever happen to the baby with them mother who also got burnt?

  • God bless you Kim. You are an inspiration for us all.

  • I dont know if you remember Kim but many years ago you came to Canada and spoke at a church in St. Catharines near niagara falls called Bethany Community Church, By Jesus Christ alone and by Gods grace he healed your broken heart. It wasnt the burns he only healed you of, and that caused bitterness for you against your enemies. God filled his heart for you with Love. Go in the grace of Jesus Christ and continue and pray that God will enpower you to be bold and full of love.

  • @sonofGodZachary I don't think god did jack shit about her burns you moron. Did he come from the magical world of non existence and heal her? Or maybe was it medicine and surgery? Because we all know doctors don't do shit to help people right? Its all fucking god. Why even get a medical degree when god will heal you? Stfu

  • I am in the middlle of reading Kim Phuc's story.... well worth reading! (Love from Australia xx)

  • hehe, my pastor's wife :D

i've lost count how many times she's spoken in public.

  • I'm sorry for the S. Vietnamese civillians that were injured or killed during our involvment in that war. I'm also sorry for the Amarican POW's that were tortured and killed by the peace loving Viet Kong and North Vietnamese.

  • @garretguidry1 I'm sure that we all understand and agree with this. My heart goes out to all the good and the innocent in this. Very sad. This world is full of sin. For those angry at God, I'm sure He understands and would rather we be angry at Him than taking it out on someone else. It is not God's fault for we create the horror that is our own destruction. He didn't say it would be easy, but that the reward will be great in the joy of eternity with Him.

  • Cam on Kim Phuc.I am so pleased to see that you are alive and strong,Chuc my mung

  • The Russian pilots flew the Migs, The French taught the torture techniques, and the US missed some great opportunities for nation building. The people of the nations are rarely the issue, its those trying intellectual experiments such as forcing people like city dwellers and doctors to become farmers so that everyone is made equal--something like an intellectual experiment where the people truly injured and killed are not the ones making the decisions. Do we ever learn?

  • An incredible, healing video. Thank you so much for posting it.

  • God will love you more than you love him. God Bless You Kim Phuc.

  • Time to kill innocent U.S. citizens.

Revenge is best served on a hot napalm plate!

  • @jdmpower86 - FYI the napalm was dropped by the South Vietnamese airforce.

  • @jdmpower86 Come on and try it. We're waiting for you.

  • @garretguidry1

    Bend over and say Uncle

  • i dont know why south and north HAVE TO BATTLE they are all vietnam

and yeah the american help north battle south

  • @tonypotterz it wasn't even just north and south vietnam. the US pretty much kick started the civil war because they were trying to stop communism from catching on in vietnam.

  • i cant believe she's still dealing with health problems right now

  • she ended the pointless war

  • her last name is funny.

the picture she was in is very powerful and life-changing.

    SAT CONG

    Thanks

  • If America had not involved the war, South Vietnam would have fallen into communism in 1954 and more Vietnamese would have been murdered in cultural revolutions like those launched by Mao in China (20 million deaths) and Khmer Rouge in Cambodia (2 millions)

Total Vietnamese democide by communists:1,040,000 (1975-87) by UNHCR

    Executions: 100,000

    Camp Deaths: 95,000

    Forced Labor: 48,000

    Democides in Cambodia: 460,000

    Democides in Laos: 87,000

    Vietnamese Boat People: 500,000 deaths.

  • FOR VC CTENAR1970:

Criminal Vietcong of war, either man and goes to defend the human democracy and rights in the military dictatorship of the Vietnam. Ctenar1970 care, its hour is arriving, its government sent me its name and address ......

  • Wow. That's nuts. Imagine being in such a important picture. Like the man who stopped the tank and walked on it.. Or the vietnamese man who just got shot in the head... maddnessss

  • i dont know much about burns but i think it was the intense short but incredible heat of napalm that burns so deep. all the blood and scarring comes later.

  • What an amazing woman. God Bless you Kim Phuc!

  • Given the power of this lady's testimony that may actually be a compliment.

  • Very touching! Peace now :)

  • What an inspirational woman! It's great to see what a strong and forgiving woman she turned into, despite the terrible things that happened to her.

  • Very strange when you see the video of her as a child, you think she has only minor burns that will take weaks to recover,,,

It does not give that serious impression.

  • You can thank the UN, France and the Michelin tire and rubber company for urging the US to sacrifice 65 thousand young men in defence of a corrupt government that needed to be crushed..

  • beautiful woman to meet in person. she is hardly subhuman. that was 4 years ago, it is good to see she is still lovely to speak to. :)

  • lol. you're a bully.

  • WOW! You should be glad God has more mercy & compassion for the human race than you! Or we all surely would be dead!

  • God bless you Kim Phuc and all people of the vietnam affected by war and the U.S. gain.
