There's nothing in this world quite like Animal Collective. Feels, Strawberry Jam and MPP are just 3 albums that capture all range of emotions and sensations like no one done before. Yes, I think is fair to say they reinvented music. Thank you Animal Collective for making my life more and more beautiful.
I think Animal Collective has one of the most unique and amazing singing harmonies out of all bands... all of them sing together, sometimes saying completely different things and oftentimes just random phrases, but it all flows together in an unbelievably euphoric sound.

@MrClayDavis Kanye deserved a 10/10. animal collective deserved a 10/10. and Ariel Pinks Haunted Grafitti deserved a 10/10. they're classics, and cover a broad and generous spectrum of musical genius-ness(my own word, dont fret).

Has anyone noticed how the word "mainstream" has become mainstream? The other day, I heard a 12 yr old say, "They're totally mainstream." I think he probably heard a number of other people say the word, and he thought it would be cool to use since everyone else is saying "mainstream" these days.

What differs pitchfork from other publications? I consider allmusic to be a good all arounder, rolling stones to tend to like rock albums much more. shitty internet magazines always give huge ratings to their genres. but pitchfork is either hit or miss with me, theyre either incredibly biased and imho way off or on point. Who gives a complete 0 anyhow? It just shows how much they want to trash an album because they think its utter garbage, even soulja boy cant get a 0.
